chapter 6

STELLA POV.

Aunt and Uncle immediately greeted me with a warm hug as soon as I entered. They are all in the dining area. Tita is next to me and Kairus is in front of me with Amara next to him.

Tita sulked at me because she said I only visited once.

"I'm sorry, I'm just busy studying." I gave a gentle answer after being asked. Somehow I was amused by the conversation with my aunt and I didn't look too much at the lovers.

Their eyes are sore.

My eyes flew to the kitchen and I saw manang there. I smiled big and waved as our eyes met. I am happy to see all of them who have been a part of my life.

"How are you hija? How ur school? You look even better, do you have a boyfriend?" Aunt asked me one question after another. I almost burst from what I was eating at Tita's last question.

I put down the utensils I used and then smiled at Tita. They all looked at me except for Kairus who was just looking at amara as if he didn't care what I had to say.

My heart ached.

"It's fine aunty, I don't have a boyfriend" I answered shyly before I turned to Kairus who kept looking at Amara while smiling.

I winced as I felt a strange pain in my heart. Gradually destroyed.

"That's impossible, how beautiful are you?

"I shook my head because I really don't have a boyfriend because I only love one person so I focused on my studies.

"Mom?"

We all looked at Amara when she spoke. I gulped because I seemed to know what he was going to say. I took one bite and tried to swallow it.

"Hmm? What is it sweatheart?" Aunt asked softly and stopped eating and gave all her attention to her son.

I looked at my friend who had a big smile while looking at his mother. Amara took Kairus' hand and folded it.

"WE'RE OFFICIALLY TOGETHER."

He announced to everyone.

I bowed quietly and seemed to have lost my appetite but I still tried to eat so that I would have something to worry about. They were silent for a while before Tita slowly smiled.

"Really?" Aunt assured. Amara nodded before leaning on Kairus' shoulder.

"Since when?." Tito asked. Our eyes moved here.

"Just a moment ago, Dad!." Amara replied with a smile. Tita nodded and sighed.

I frown because something seems wrong? I shook my head because maybe it was just my imagination.

Tita smiled before turning to Kairus who was also smiling as he watched Amara.

"I'm not going to ask you if you love my son Kairus because I myself am a witness of how much you love my son. You waited for him for a long time and that's enough for me to believe that you really love my son." Tita said for a long time. I blinked when I felt tears rolling down my face. "Congratulations both of you!" Aunt added.

"Of course aunty, I love Amara, and I promise, I won't hurt Amara"
