Chapter 2
After hours of just laying on the bed, thinking about the creation of the world and food. I finally decided to get out of bed.
But seriously, how do people just create recipes and make it such a good food. Those people are real genius.
I undressed myself once I got into the bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror amd wondered if I looked like my mom. I have jet black and long hair.
I have dark grey eyes from my mom. I think Sandra looks more like her though. Or maybe because she is older. I don't know.
But none of us really took my father's feautures, except his black hair. That's for sure.
I sighed before getting into the shower.
Sandra moved to Paris when She married Nick and it's been weeks since the last Time She came to visit.
I miss her so much. But we talked to each other whenever we can.
Once I was done with my shower. I went to my room and saw my dress on my bed. It must be miranda who put it there.
I started doing my hair then my makeup. I finished by applying a nude lipstick. Then put my gown on. Its was a red satin gown.
It hugged my body and was backless, but covered my chest.
I look at my phone and saw it was almost 8 so I went downstairs. My parents were already there.
"Oh my god. Sarah you look gorgeous." Miranda gasped hugging me.
"He will fall head over heels for you". she says.
He? I looked at her confused as my dad cleared his throat. I heard her muttering something before smiling at me again.
"I mean all the people there will completely love it". She said nervously.
And I just knew that something was up. I just had to find out what.
And fast.
I smile thanking her then we headed out of our house. I texted Sonia telling her I just left my house.
************
When we got there, we got out of the car and went inside. We took a few pictures.
Once inside, a waiter with drinks came to us and offered us some drinks. My parents took champagnes but I didn't take anything and started looking around for Sonia until I saw her waving at me.
Then she headed towards us with her parents. I greeted them and hugged Sonia then we started talking and complimenting each other. She was wearing a white tight gown and it was strapless.

"Sarah, there is someone I would like you to meet". I heard my dad said. Sonia and I looked at him to see that he was alone. We looked at him confused. When did the others leave?
Sonia and I followed him in a big room where other guests were.
The room had many paintings that will probably be sold tonight. We followed my dad until I saw my mom, Sonia's parents and two other men and a woman. One of the men and the woman looked like they were in their sixties while the younger man looked like he was probably in his thirties. We got there and my mom smiled and came beside me.
"Mr and Mrs Lombardi I would like you to meet our daughter Sarah". Miranda says.
She then turned to me. "Sarah I would like you to meet Mr and Mrs Lombardi and their older son Lucca".
I smiled and Mrs Lombardi gave a tight hug. "I am so glad to finally meet you." She said smiling at me. "What a beautiful young woman you are. Right Victor?.". She said looking at her husband.
"Yes. I agree." He said
"Thank you". I said smiling politely at them. I looked at Miranda who had the biggest smile on her face, so did my dad.
What the hell is wrong with them today!?
"Here is our son Lucca." Mrs Lombardi says. I looked at him and saw that he was already staring at me. But his face was emotionless. But god he is gorgeous. His black hair, his perfect jawline. He was tall. Probably 6"3.
Snap out it.
"Nice to meet you, Mr Lombardi". I said politely and looked away once I realised I have been staring at him.
But I can still feel his intense gaze on me.
"The pleasure is all mine, Miss Dantes". He said in his husky voice.
"This is so exciting. I can't wait for the wedding". She said excitedly.
My eyes widened as I looked at Lucca to see him already staring at me with a small smirk on his face. What on earth does she mean by that?
future wife?
He will fall head over heels for you. I thought about Miranda's words earlier.
Realisation hits me as I looked at my parents with wide eyes.
They just smiled at me. I'm only twenty-two. I just graduated. I knew it would come but not this soon.
What the hell is wrong with them?
