Chapter 7: Reunion of Parents and Children!

Sylvia's eyes were red and swollen from crying.

"Mom, Dad, I swear," Quentin's eyes were sharp as he vowed, "I will make sure that all the masterminds behind this will be buried with you."

"Cut off their heads and seek vengeance for you..."

Paul wept bitterly, "Master Quentin, you have finally returned. Master Dominick and Madam missed you every day when they were alive..."

"After they passed away, their bodies were never found..."

Upon hearing this, Quentin felt even more suffocated, his eyes reddened. To think that even after their death, his parents were still treated with such indignity, their remains not even found... the top four richest families were so despicable!

After paying respects to their parents, Sylvia hesitated and asked, "Quentin, do you want to go see Charlotte?"

Quentin's heart trembled, and he nodded slightly.

Meanwhile, at the Hill family...

"What?"

"Sylvia was rescued by Quentin? Kai was killed? But that's Roberto's turf! How could he..."

A middle-aged man with a look of horror and dark eyes was the head of the Hill family, Jadyn Hill.

Another middle-aged man, Carl Hill, knelt on the ground, grieving. "Jadyn, you must avenge Kai!" Kai was his only son, how could he bear this?

"Don't worry." Jadyn nodded, "I will definitely seek justice for him."

Quentin had been battling in Adrakmore for so many years, and yet he was still alive? He was really lucky! And he even got the nerve to kill someone from the Hill family?

"He must have some skills now. I heard even the garrison helped him. Let's first investigate his background!"

Jadyn pondered, "But even if he manages to survive, so what? In Stresall, the top four richest families are the rulers! Even if he returns, he will still meet his doom!"

The Hill, Tanner, Spencer and Edwards families were a force to be reckoned with in Stresall. Quentin is nothing in comparison. Five years ago, they could have easily ruined Quentin, and five years later, they still can!

"And also, the engagement banquet of Alisha Pittman and Corey Hill cannot be delayed."

"Send Quentin an invitation. On that day, I want to make him a laughingstock throughout the city!"

"First, humiliate him thoroughly, and then toy with him before killing him, only then can I vent my hatred..."

The jeep came to a stop in a run-down neighborhood. The surroundings were cluttered, and the air carried a foul odor.

Quentin's heart trembled wildly. Have Charlotte and the others been living in this shabby place.

He was full of guilt. Suddenly, his gaze froze on a trash can by the roadside. Two filthy kids stood on the sidewalk, faces full of helplessness. A middle-aged couple stood there, angrily berating the two children.

"Theo, Janessa!" Sylvia couldn't help but shout out. At that moment, Quentin's heart trembled...

"Stop!" he bellowed, kicking open the car door and striding out, his eyes turning incredibly gentle as he looked at the two kids.

"Two little beggars with no mother, got no one to raise you, pay up! Pay up right now!"

"You've damaged my car, if your folks don't come over and pay hundreds of thousands, none of you will escape..."

Facing the fierce and malicious middle-aged couple, the little boy held the girl tightly, his eyes filled with fear yet unwavering determination.

"Janessa has no money... and it was you who drove into us..."

"Auntie, please don't be mad, okay? This is all the money Janessa earned from collecting bottles today..." The girl looked aggrieved, then stretched out her filthy hands, gathered all the loose change, and placed it in front of the middle-aged couple.

"Please, don't tell our mom and grandma, okay? If they find out we came out to collect bottles again, they'll scold my brother..."

Quentin's eyes welled up with tears at the sight of this scene.

Looking at the meager amount of change, less than five dollars, the middle-aged woman was fumed with fury.

She slapped the money to the ground. "You think a few bucks can get rid of me? I'll beat you two bastards to death today!"

She grimaced, raising her hand high and viciously slapping the girl!
