Chapter 4: It's You

Hoseok's eyes fluttered open, following a loud yawn escaping his mouth, and stretched himself as much as he can. He let out a deep breath, mesmerising the tone the birds were making. A smile appeared on his lips, looking beside him—only to realise that Jimin is already gone.

This cause a panic for Hoseok, abruptly standing straight up before glancing around to see if Jimin was there. But he wasn't, even when he yelled out his name at the top of his lungs, the younger wasn't around. Hoseok let out a shaky breath as he went around the area to search for Jimin who was nowhere to be found. Even his scent could barely be sensed—more like it cannot be sensed anymore.

Jimin have already fled far away from Hoseok. He doesn't have a great smelling ability like Jimin does so he doesn't have a choice but to roam around the forest just to smell his scent.

On the other hand, Jimin followed the scent from miles away. It seemed familiar and so strong that he couldn't deny that the smell invaded his nose so strongly. Since Jimin had the greatest scent, he could easily find the person. With him not fully conscious, he just walked to where the scent led him. His ears suddenly twitched at the sound that he was hearing, and weakly opened his eyes.

Jimin’s eyes widened only to fathom that he was already at the place full of beautiful and blooming flowers with flowing falls dropping down in front of him. It was breathtaking and amazing sight. He has roamed around the country but he has never even seen such beautiful scenery aside from the flower field he used to go with his lover. He walked towards the small stream to drink some water, bending on his knees before satisfying his quenched thirst with liquid down his throat. His inside was whimpering in satisfaction while he closed his eyes, enjoying the pleasure.

Such then something hit him. He fully opened his eyes and glanced at the reflection of the water.

"What the fuck am I doing?!" He yelped, backing down and stumbling on his butt. He didn't even noticed that he was drinking the water like a dog.

His head snapped when he heard another soothing voice, singing a beautiful melody. He stalked to where the melody was and saw a woman, facing on her naked back while rubbing herself with her long slender fingers along with her delicate and soft milky skin.

His inside was jumping in excitement—it was his wolf inside who was howling in happiness. He's a half vampire and half wolf, no one could deny that.

The scent made the wolf inside him to resurface even after Jimin tried to hide it for thousand years. His wolf was completely taking over his human form while jumping around in spite of having a weak physical condition while Jimin was completely unaware of what his wolf was doing as he was already sleeping inside his own body from too much tiredness.

"Mate." He growled, protectively.

After a while, Jimin's wolf closed his eyes, snout twitched at the smell of his mate, and opened them to see that the lady was now gone. His wolf whimpered in dissatisfaction. He tried to sense her but her scent becomes faint. He ran as fast as he could too catch up the lady but was too tired after trying, and just fell asleep, in his wolf form.

Jimin was too sick to go after the lady. He couldn't go on any further—even his wolf.

The Alpha of the Moon Pack transformed into his wolf form, running towards the area where he could always rely own. The place was hidden deep inside the forest, and away from the pack's territory.

Whenever he encounters problems, he would always come there and enjoy his time alone without someone bothering him. He didn't want to have such big burden on his shoulders because all he ever wanted was to become a normal wolf who will protect his own family rather than being a leader over some pack.

However, his mind wasn't bothered by anything related to his pack. Actually, it was more on Ha Na. He was worried as to why Ha Na isn't waking up yet even though it has been three months since he saved her from the forest. He closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep until he heard something far away. His senses immediately increases, growling at the direction of the noise.

Vampires? He wondered, his snout twitched and ran after the vampires with full speed to catch them. He hid behind a tree as he watched the group of vampires searching for something. He wondered, Why are there a lot of vampires here in this forest?

"They must be that way! Try searching again!" One of them yelled, must've been the leader of the group.

The Alpha raised his eyebrows while watching them. His heart stopped when the leader stopped his tracks, twitching his nose to smell something.

The vampire who were searching sensed a different faint scent near him but completely shrugged it off when the scent was gone making the wolf sighed in relief.

The Alpha glanced at the little jewellery wrapped around his wrist and was glad that he was wearing the bracelet that Ha Na gave him. It was really something that would protect him—except that day. Guess he was unlucky that time the moment he took off the bracelet from his wrist.

The bracelet has always been with him since it would hide his scent and protect him from vampires just like what his Noona said. He just never knew it in the first place.

That night, it was a complete nightmare to him. He was unaware and innocent that time that he simply took off the bracelet, trying to find his hyung who was already gone.

But then in just a blink of an eye, he was suddenly attacked by a complete unknown vampire making him hate the vampires even more. And when he woke up, no one was there for him except her. He flinched when he heard the sound of the can echoed the forest making all the vampires looked at him.

The two races just stared at each other for a full minute before one yelled. "A Werewolf! Attack!"

Instead of the wolf running away, he wasted no time to slaughter the group of vampires in just a span of 2-3 minutes. His thirst for blood increased, and panted heavily, looking at the lifeless bodies of the vampires.

Just as was about to run away, he heard someone slow clapping. He turned around and scowled as he faced the person.

"It's you again."
