31. Prince Vassago

"PRINCE VASSAGO"

Rusty sighed steadily as she walked in front of Grimm's bakery. She was very nervous in those moments.

"Hey, Rusty... Don't say you're pregnant so you're nervous?!" Andrey joke here.

Rusty's face flushed and she looked embarrassed at Grimm's older brother.

"Oh, you're serious, Kuya! No. I only think of my Grandpa so I'm nervous. He was rude and very strict then. He's at home now, so I left to avoid him."

"I think so, your Grandpa looks scary. You're pale."

She rubbed her forehead and sat down on the bench next to the store. She took a deep breath. Her Grandpa Edward would surely force her Dad to send her to the Exorcist School. Now, she is in trouble because she does not have supernatural abilities. She was denied then. She heard the door open and after a while, she felt someone sitting next to her.

"Kuya said, you seem to be here so I left my room immediately."

"Ahm... I left the house because my Grandfather was there now. So here, I thought of hanging out with you first. Am I bothering you?"

"Not really. The truth is, I'm not doing anything, I just woke up. Are you worried again because of your Grandfather?"

She looked sadly at Grimm's face.

"You're right. He'll definitely insist on Dad that I should be admitted to the Exorcist School. What should I do, Grimm? Not even a simple antidote to evil spirits, I don't know? And most of all, I do not have the ability to be an exorcist because I do not feel or see even a ghost?"

Grimm looked at her seriously and grabbed her right hand.

"I know I should not say this thing ... but you’re being paranoid. Rusty, your weird uncle Father Clemen told me that your father deliberately closed the natural channel of your body from supernatural things. He did that because he wanted to protect you and that way, you could have a normal life somehow. Your father loves you so much that he even disobeyed your Grandfather."

Grimm held Rusty's hand tightly to comfort it. Amazed, she looked at him and because of that he smiled sparingly. Its aura is lightened and no longer aborted.

"T-True? Did Dad really do that?" Rusty asked excitedly.

"Yes, that's what your Uncle said."

"That's great! It means, I also have talent! "Rusty said happily.

"Is it called talent there? What I hear your uncle calling there and your Dad is CURSE." Commented by Grimm

"Cool to be weird." Rusty replied.

"In that case, am I cool?" Grimm asked smiling.

"If you are not picky and love to make trouble, I hope so."

"Oh my gosh, you knocked me down. I hope you lifted me up even just pretending. I'm just different, anyway, why your Aunt Alice, she's not an Exorcist?" he asked casually.

"Because Aunt Alice was adapted." Rusty's short answer.

Grimm felt guilty because he was too curious.

"I'm sorry ah? I have a lot of questions. It's complicated the status of your family. It's windy and a headache. Fortunately, my family is normal."

"That's why I'm jealous of you."

Grimm, on the other hand, felt proud of that. Then he bent down and was stunned. He hadn't even removed his hand from Rusty's hand. And it doesn't seem to notice the latter either. His cheeks warmed up and he felt disgusted.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to, because I didn't realize it."

Rusty nodded in surprise and saw her hand held by Grimm. Her lips parted but she could not speak. It had already removed the hand from her hand.

"Sorry..." Grimm apologized.

"Its okay." her short answer.

Then a deafening silence prevailed. They lost the topic to be discussed. And they both seem to have felt a strange detachment because of the awkward thing that happened. Moments later an owner type jeep parked next to it. The driver was Father Clemen. It went down and smiling went to where they were.

"Really? You are dating now. Just like a scene in a movie oh. Ha ha ha!" He laughed.

Both frowned and bowed to the newcomer.

"You're wrong, weird priest!" Grimm replied.

"Then, what is Rusty doing here?"

It looked at the frowning niece. It did not speak.

"She seems to be here because her Grandfather is in their house. She avoids it." the language is Grimm.

"Now I know... Why my beautiful niece is rude now."

"You, why are you here?" Grimm asked casually.

Clemen pocketed his hands on his pants before speaking.

"I'm going to the Orphanage. There was a child there who was brought to me by the nuns. His case was not ordinary so they gave it to me. That's why I went to you because I know you can help me in that case."

"Ah, is that so? .Just wait, I will say goodbye to Dad. "

Grimm got up and immediately went inside their house. Clemen sat down next to his niece.

"Would you like to go on a walk with Grimm and me?" he asked his niece.

Amuse that Rusty looked at her uncle.

"Of course, can I?" she asked.

"Shall I ask you if it is not possible." smiling Clemen replied.

Rusty took a deep breath and stared intently at her uncle's face. Clemen, on the other hand, was identified by his niece.

"Why?" it counts.

"Uncle, is it true that Dad closed the channel of my body to the supernatural? He shut down my ability as an exorcist?" Rusty asked emphatically.

Clemen was surprised at the niece's question. And when he recovered suddenly...

"Who did you know that thing about?"

"Grimm said."

Clemen was shocked to hear his niece's answer.

"That demon has gossip."

"In that case, is it really true?" Rusty asked naughtily.

Clemen was serious and rested deeply. His niece was no longer young so he knew this kind of opportunity would come when she would have to ask questions of things she could not understand. He took a deep breathe...

"Because that is the last request of your Mother Reisha to your father. She wants to protect you from dangerous things... Reisha was a great Exorcist, but her body could not handle her power. Her own abilities gradually weakened her body. That was the real reason she disappeared early. And that is also the reason why she asked my brother to close the channel of your body. She was afraid you would be like her."

Rusty cries as her uncle tells the story.

"Until the end, Mama thought of me... Alas, I did not even have a chance to meet and be with her."

Clemen just patted his niece on the shoulder. Later Grimm came out. He was carrying a bag of bread.

"Why are you late?" Clemen asked.

"I got something to eat on the way eh. Here oh, our bestseller ensaymada."

"Whew... That's what I want from you!"

Clemen stood up and so did Rusty. None of her own smiled. She was happy to know that it was because of her Mother's love that she became the reason why she is living a normal life now. She felt better and she forgot about her Grandfather. They got into the owner-type jeep and were immediately driven by her uncle.

Meanwhile... Constantine's eyebrows met when she heard what his father said. He was shaken.

"No is my answer... do you understand?" he said emphatically.

"What's your problem? Why don't you want to remove the seal you put on Rusty? She's at the right age and it's time for her to go to Exorcist School."

Constantine tighten his jaws.

"Rusty will not be an exorcist because I promised my wife. Even if you are my father, you can not change my decision."

"Your wife has been dead for a long time. She can do nothing."

Constantine's ears tingled and he was about to punch his Father Edward. It will never really change, it just listens and obeys itself.

"Leave while I can still hold back. Leave, while I still have respect for you and I will never forget you are my Dad. Our conversation has no destination."

"Do you think I don't care about my own granddaughter? I don't want to ask you this thing but I can do nothing. How many times have I told you that Rusty looks like that woman. And maybe your daughter is her reincarnation."

"Rusty is not Kristine Edenburg. The talk is over and reincarnation is not true."

Constantine just walked out. He did not want to argue with his father anymore. The old man just shook his head.

"You're just like Clemen. You did nothing but get angry and disobey me... Please do not regret your decision." Edward said.

Meanwhile, Clemen arrived at the orphanage and was immediately greeted by the nuns in charge. The children are currently playing outside.

"Where is the child you are talking about?" Clemen asked.

"The boy is in his room and does not want to go out, Father." worried nun language.

"What's so special about him?" Clemen asked.

"He always says... He hears many voices and sometimes, he sees shadows. Those shadows are said to be scary, they have wings. He said, they are evil angels... And he is afraid because they will take him."

"Is that so? When did this thing happen to the child?" Clemen ask further.

"Since he came here. His name is Fredrick Haunt. The child was orphaned by a tragic incident. A massacre took place in their family. It is a miracle that he can be considered a survivor because he was stabbed more than twenty times. And since he recovered and left the hospital, he mentioned nothing but voices and shadows. We examined him with a specialist and they said that the reason why the child was acting like that could be severe trauma..."

The nun took a deep breath. It looked at Father Clemen's face and it turned pale with fear. It was crucified in no time.

"They also said that we need to help the child to get rid of his trauma. But we did everything, nothing happened. Until one night, I heard the children screaming... My fellow nuns and I immediately went to see what was happening. We were all surprised to see Fredrick floating on his bed and screaming. We also saw a big shadow, a scary shadow. He looked like a man but with wings and long nails, his voice was terrifying and his voice echoed all around... We were all very scared all those times. Especially children. I dared to approach and pray, then I threw the rosary I was holding in the shadow. It disappeared and Fredrick fell on the bed. I attended the child, and then he told me that after nine days he would be picked up... Because of what happened, we separated him from the room. That day is tomorrow, Father..." the nun's long story.

"In that case, why did you just bring this thing to me now?" Clemen said a little annoyed.

"I'm sorry, Father... We first approached other exorcists. But all of them, were overwhelmed by the creature guarding the child."

Clemen violently scratched his neck.

"All right, we will go to the child. Take us to him."

"Yes."

The nun walked first and carefully followed. Grimm was late because he was staring around.
