Defiant type landed in dungeon.
The rattling of the dungeon’s heavy lock almost deafened Angelina as Ella slammed it shut, rolling her eyes at her maliciously.
"Would you at least stop that annoying eye roll? I'm already serving my punishment for hitting your master," Angelina said defiantly, rolling her eyes back in return.
"Seriously?" Ella scoffed, folding her arms. "You should thank your stars you weren't ordered to be stoned to death, morherfucker! This is the most humane thing Riot has ever done in all my years under him. Don't get too comfortable with this punishment. He's only preserving the real one for you." A wicked grin stretched across her face. "I'd happily sew your burial cloth."
With that, she turned and bounced off down the hallway, her hips swaying behind her.

Silas skipped excitedly until he reached Kaden's suite. Having just been assigned under him, he couldn't wait to become Kaden's most trusted sidekick. That was exactly why he came carrying Angelina's number, which he had just managed to obtain.
He pressed the doorbell repeatedly, almost losing his confidence when no response came. Just as he turned to leave, the door finally swung open.
Colt's hardened face greeted him, instantly making his legs wobble and causing him to lose every ounce of confidence inside him.
"What are you doing here?" Colt asked coldly, his sharp eyes roaming from Silas' head to his toes as if searching for something suspicious.
"I got assigned under him and..." Silas trailed off, pinching the side of his face.
"Then wait for his next order instead of shoving your face around, begging to be recognized," Colt blurted in his usual blunt manner.
Silas lowered his head and turned to leave, but Kaden appeared just then.
"Let him in," Kaden ordered before walking back inside, and Silas hurried after him.
"Why are you here?" Kaden asked without looking up, his attention fixed on his phone as he tapped away on it. "You're not a lady, so I wouldn't say you came begging for a fuck."
"I... I want to be your second sidekick." Silas nervously fiddled with the edge of the couch. "I admire you a lot."
"You want to be my sidekick?" Kaden finally looked at him. "What can you do?"
"I can hunt down anybody in your stead." Silas straightened up slightly. "And that's why I came here with the newbie's number... Konstantin's."
"And what do I do with that?" Kaden stood, clearly unimpressed. "It doesn't move my plans of killing her forward."
"We can pose as Master Rage," Silas quickly blurted before Kaden could walk away. "We'll send a message ordering him to come for training. Then we'd take him... and probably kill her, just like you wanted, Master."
He bowed immediately when Kaden slowly turned back, a crooked smile tugging at his lips.
"I think you'll be of use after all." He clapped once and motioned for Silas to sit back down.

The air inside Rage's villa was as chilly as always. Rage stood by the window, taking a slow drag from his vape pen. The corner of his lips gradually lifted until it became a full smirk.
His mind replayed what had happened at the training ground. The smirk slowly widened into a deadly smile, and a dreamy look settled in his eyes.
He dropped the vape pen onto the table and was about to continue molding, something that had practically become a part of him, when a phone notification interrupted him. He squinted when he saw the notification didn't come from his own phone.
It came from the phone he had taken from Angelina before ordering her to be thrown into the dungeon. Curiosity flickered in his eyes as he picked it up.
He typed 1234 nonchalantly, and the phone unlocked surprisingly.
"How tacky," he thought with a faint scoff.
He opened the messages, and his brows knitted together as he read the latest text on Konstantin's phone.
Konstantin, you are to come to the abandoned basement right now. — From Riot.
He smirked immediately after he finished reading it, his dark orbs rolling around the room. Whoever dared send that message using his name had certainly caught his interest.
He calmly placed the phone back on the bedside table, slipped on a black shirt over his slacks, and walked out with effortless grace. The closer he got to the abandoned basement, the more his childhood memories clawed their way into his mind.
His eyes slowly turned bloodshot, and his small gun rested firmly in his right hand as he got to the basement’s door.
He forcefully pushed the memories aside before they could consume him. Without hesitation, he pushed open the rusted basement door and stepped inside.
From where he stood, he could make out the shadows of four men waiting in the darkness. He remained rooted to his spot, not moving an inch away from the weathered entrance.
Silas and the three mobsters under Kaden immediately started walking toward him, convinced it was Angelina who had arrived. The basement was swallowed in darkness, making it impossible to recognize faces.
The underlings smirked confidently as they cracked their knuckles and closed the distance. Once they were close enough, they switched on their flashlights.
The beams landed directly on Rage's face, and every trace of confidence in them vanished into the basement’s darkness.
Their eyes widened in horror, and their bodies trembled uncontrollably. Silas let out a frightened gasp, warmth spreading down his leg as he peed on himself.
Without another thought, they spun around and bolted for the basement's second exit. They grabbed the handle, but it wouldn't budge.
Someone had already locked it from the outside. Slowly... they turned back. Rage was already walking toward them by now, and each measured step echoed through the silent basement.
Closer.
Closer.
Closer.
