5-Leaving.

Jordan POV.

She's moving out of our room, but why would she do that, she can't leave me, I'm leaving in four days, and now I won't even have Ashlynn with me for those four days, the pain I'm feeling was too much to be put into words, I feel betrayed and left out, hated by my own family, I swallowed my pain and looked back at Ashlynn.

"There's no need for that Ash," I say swallowing down a lump inside my throat, it felt like the whole earth is now stuck in my throat, breathing has become much harder now, but I'm a good actor, I always have been, especially when it comes to Ash.

"You're an adult now, you'll want to bring in girls, or boys...you know, I know you want some privacy if you find your mate and all of that..." she says still on ranting, but I never brought a girl or a boy to my room, I've always decided to hold it until I find my mate, I want our first kiss to be together, our first sexual anything to be together, I want to hold it until I find my true other half until I find my one and only mate.

"Ashlynn...just stop, listen," I order my sister, the pain was way too much, I won't throw her out of the room she's been using since she was a child, this isn't right, my sister is only nineteen, she's not going to leave for college, she'd attend classes but still live in the house.

"What?" she says opening her mouth in an oh shape, making me smile, it's one of her cute habits.

"Ashlynn, I'm going off for training," I say deciding to tell her I'll be gone soon.

"What training! Why! I'll talk mom into allowing you to stay," she says, in other words, she'd annoy mom until she allows me to stay, but I don't want to stay now.

"I don't want to stay, Ashlynn, I need to go for a bit, I need the training," I say holding Ashlynn, tears started to fill her tears, she's on the verge of tears too, but Jacob won't do me any good here.

"But you my kitty," Ashlynn says tears going down her face freely now, Kitty, the name she gave me when she was just a toddler, I came to this family, small, fragile, and broken kid, toddler Ashlynn decided I look like a kitty with my blond hair and green eyes, the name stuck.

"I know Ash, I'll always be your brother, but I need to do this, I need to go for a while," I say holding her tighter, but the tears didn't stop, she was full-on sobbing now.

"When you leaving?" she asks between sobs.

"Tonight, after my birthday," I answer her, mom said birthday, we're both her children, mine is just as good as Jacob's.

"No go..." she cries, while I held into her, I need to make her stop crying, I can't take my baby sister's tears.

"Hey, Ash, maybe I'll find over that pack," I say, I was hopeful, I was hoping to find my mate soon, I'm not as strong as Keiran or mom is, I don't want to stay alone for long.

"Another kitty? Would it be a he or a she?" she asks forgetting her tears, now focusing on the possibility of me getting a mate.

"I don't know Ash, I don't mind either," I say it was the truth, I didn't mind either, I swing both ways.

"Last birthday for my kitty, gotta be realllyyyyyyyy good!" she says making me smile, she's the sweetest.

"Okay honey, come on, I promised Kiara some chocolate cake," I say holding Ashlynn's hand and going down for dinner and cake, we both made it to the dining table, Kiara was sitting on Jacob's lap, he must has talked her into sitting and stop crying.

"Happy birthday Jordan, to my son, you've always made me proud," Mom says holding her glass up, the rest raised their glass too, only mom and Keiran drink alcohol, the rest of us prefer coke or just water, Kiara likes juice.

"To Jordy," Keiran and Jacob say at the same time, while Ashlynn and Kiara went with "To kitten," as a nickname for me.

"Thank you, everyone," I say sitting at the table, starting to eat my dinner, small chat was shared between all of us, I haven't mentioned that I plan on leaving tonight, I'm waiting until after we have our dinner.

"Any new plans?" Jacob asks me, what plans? For the four days, I'm supposed to be staying here, no need to be a jerk brother, I think to myself.

"Well, I'll be leaving tonight," I say looking at my brother, but his eyes went wide, he didn't know?

"Go where Jordan?" he asks me confused.

"The blackthorn pack, mom says I will be training with them," I say with a big fake smile, trying to show my sisters it's going to be okay.

"But they aren't expecting you for another day or two," Mom says, her voice losing its alpha edge, she sounds like a mother who doesn't want to send her son away, it's not like I'm leaving forever, it's just training, I'll be back by the next season.

"I'm sure they won't mind having me early," I say with another big fake smile, I need to leave.

"That's fine Jordan, I'll message their alpha right now," Keiran says looking at me, we shared a look, he knew something was up with me, that maybe missing my mate is hurting me, he knows the feeling, he's been an adult for years now and still searching for his mate.

"Thank you Kei, now where's my cake!" I say ignoring the rest of my dinner, Kiara and Ashlynn clapped happily about the idea of getting some cake, they all sang for me, as I cut down the cake, handing the girls cake first.

After dinner, cake, and some gifts exchanged, I went up to my room to get packed, Ashlynn won't have to move out, I'm the one who'd be leaving now, I got some exercise clothes packed, some better-looking clothes, and finally a few hoodies since it's freezing cold outside, all my toiletries, I got dressed and was ready to leave.

"I'm ready," I say going downstairs, ready to get in my car and leave, but first I had to hug everyone, I didn't want to leave, but I need to leave now.

"Drive safe, it's a good whole night drive," Mom says, hugging me tighter than anyone else.

"Their alpha would message me directly, please don't get in trouble," Keiran warns me making me giggle, I'll try, no promises.
