Surprise

Natalia's POV :

Two days later...

We never know what is waiting for us tomorrow. Life is full of surprises. If we had a miraculous power to know as if something cruel is gonna happen the next day, we would become cautious and our life would be very easy.

If I had known this dangerous mysterious man was going to come in my life as a nightmare, I would've never gone to that frigging club.

Fardinn agreed to help us two days ago. He had sent some of his criminal friend to watch my home that night. But nobody seemed to show up, no cars, no men.

Everything was clear. So Fardinn was thinking it was some random idiot messing around. Fardinn promised me that he wouldn't involve his father or cops in this matter when I had requested him not to.

In those two days I had been acting like a predator's prey. Every time I jumped up when my doorbell rang or my mobile phone buzzed. It felt like he was coming, he was standing in front of my door and ready to take me away with.

I barely got out of my room. I neither could concentrate any shit since that day nor told my parents about it, thanks to that asshole. Marjan and Reema came to visit granny yesterday but she again started telling ideal stories and lecturing them on how to become a polite and decent woman.

It was quite funny to see Reema and Marjan's reaction. They were sitting like status. But my grandma was blabbering the same wise quotes which she always tells. School also went normal, no one had arrived at my school or chased after me these days. I was a bit relaxed now though something didn't feel right.

I still couldn't forget those dangerous ocean blue eyes that were dark and inflammable with pure lust and dominance. Stormy wind was blowing outside.

I closed my windows and balcony door then moved downstairs. Getting downstairs, I saw mom preparing dinner, granny was busy with knitting and Ellerie was playing with his teddy bear. Mom made fish curry, boiled rice and vegetable salad. We all sat down on the table.

"Mom, where's dad?"

"He said he'll be late today, honey."

"Oh, okay." We were about to dig in then our doorbell rang suddenly.

"You said dad will be late. Then who can come in this hour?" I asked my mother.

"Don't know. Maybe he finished his work quickly." Mom shrugged.

"It also could be aunty Hannah or Nova." Ellerie sang.

"Yeah you're right." I nodded.

"Coming!"

I got up and walked towards the door.

I opened the door with a smile but my smile immediately vanished and my heartbeat dropped when my eyes met a pair of familiar ocean blue eyes.

The whole world stopped beside me when I looked into his hypnotizing eyes which were containing no emotions, they were just dark and soulless.

A amusing sinister smirk lifted up in the corner of his mouth. I quickly grabbed the doorknob and slammed it so that he couldn't come inside. But he was so fast, he placed his one hand on the door and shoved it forward powerfully, that caused me to fly and land two feet away from the door, on the ground.

"My my. We haven't had the pleasure to say hello again, and you're already closing the door on my face?" He amused that almost gave me a heart attack.

"Very bad, baby girl."

He clicked his tongue and shook his head, that sinister smirk still plastered on his luscious lips.

My blood ran cold as I started trembling in fear. Two muscular men entered behind him as I recognized them, Victor and John. Three more scary-looking men standing outside of our door.

"Talia! Who's it? And what's the noise?" Mom yelled from the kitchen.

I quickly got up and I tried to push him outside of the house but he roughly grabbed me by my waist and spun me around as the back of my head pressed on his hard chest.

He leaned down and placed his chin in the crook of my neck then rubbed his clean-shaven cheek with my soft one. If my saint akin granny saw us in this state, I'm sure she would face a brutal heart attack.

"You've made a big mistake, Natalia." He whispered in my ear.

"No, let me go." I waggled.

He let go of me, grabbed my hand and dragged me in the kitchen with him. Mom and grandma abruptly stood up from their chair when they saw him. They stood still for a few moments as thunder fell on them.

"What's happening? Who are you? What are you doing in my house and why are you holding my daughter's hand?" Mom spoke loudly.

"Ah ha. Like daughter like mother. Or should I say like mother like daughter? Mmm?" He turned to me and chuckled raising an eyebrow, still holding me tightly.

I looked at my granny, who was still in shock, palms on her mouth and eyes wide. I was struggling to get out of his tight hold but he was hundred times more powerful than me. Ellerie's eyes went wide in fear and he quickly hid under the table when he saw the scary men.

"Arina! What's happening in this house?! God, forgive us! And who are you boy? Why are you holding my granddaughter?" Granny boomed suddenly.

"Shh.. it's inappropriate to treat a guest like this. Let's eat together first." He smiled and sat down on my chair.

He motioned us to sit down but Mom and grandma were looking at him in pure rage as they stood still. When mom was about to say something he placed a gun on the table. We all gasped loudly and sat down as he smirked coldly.

"Where's your manners, Natalia? Serve us dinner before it gets cold." He narrowed his eyes at me.

I looked at mom who threw daggers on me.

"Are you deaf?" He boomed, this time that made me gasp and flinch.

I shakily grabbed a spoon and shakily filled a plate.

"Stop shaking or you'll ruin my shirt." He chuckled dryly.

"Fish curry. I like it. Especially I like spicy foods." He grabbed a fork and started eating.

"How dare you?! Who even are you?! You suddenly broke into my house and then sat on my dining table without my permission, how dare you?! Did your parents teach you to act this way? You―" Mom stopped when he abruptly grabbed the gun and pointed it at me, making me gasp loudly.

"I already hate your family, Natalia. They're making me repeat which I hate most. Anyways, do you know why I'm here?" He looked at me then my mother.

"Why?" Mom asked shakily.

"Your daughter caught my eyes. I saw her in my club one week ago. Fuck, I couldn't take off my fucking eyes when I laid them on her." He said in a cold voice.

"You know I see you everywhere, Natalia. I fucking can't think straight since the moment I laid my eyes on you." He looked at me up and down.

I looked at mom who was now totally stunned. Grandma was looking at us in shock, mouth still hung open.

God, I f*cking hate this man.

He ruined my life and made everything more complicated. What would I say to my parents now? Why was I in a club? I was totally f*cked up.

"What? Which club? What's happening, Talia?" Mom knitted her eyebrows.

"I-I.. y-you.. I don't know mom. I can explain." I stuttered.

"What'll you explain, Natalia? That you were in a club last week and wearing nothing but a short sexy skirt that was almost showing your pretty round ass and a thin short top that was showing your sexy bellybutton? God, I wanted to rip those fucking clothes off of you and carry you on my bed." He closed his eyes and exhaled deeply as I flinched every time when he spoke those corrupted words.

"Shut up! How dare you say this in front of us?! Have you got no shame?! A baby boy and an old lady is sitting here! Are you insane?!" Mom shouted but that only made him chuckle.

"Arina, what am I hearing? I told you to restrain your daughter. I knew she would do such things in future. God, forgive us!" Grandma uttered.

I felt my heart shattering into pieces. I started crying for all this mess I had made. I had betrayed my family so they'd blame me now and it was normal. It was all my fault and my stupidity. I should've told them before. I could explain everything to them. Maybe they would forgive me and I wouldn't have to see this day.

"Look gentleman, thank you for your kind information. Now you can get out of my house." Mom smiled tightly.

"Do I look like I'm here to give you some shitty information? I want your daughter. I want her to be mine. All mine. I'm gonna take her with me permanently. I told her to come willingly but she fucking ran to her friends and stayed there at night." He blared.

"What?! Never! I'm not going anywhere with you! How dare you say this?!" I shouted at him.

"Are you fucking crazy?! I'm not giving my daughter to a psychopath like you. Wait, I'm calling the cops." Mom slammed her palms loudly on the table and abruptly stood up.

"Ron!" He motioned his man for something.

Two men dragged my father inside the house, a gun was pointing at his head. I screamed and ran toward my father but that asshole grabbed my hair harshly which made me cry out in pain.

"Let her go, you bastard!" Dad shouted.

"She's mine. Only mine. I'll kill every fucking human if they dare to keep her away from me!" He growled in anger.

"Let me go, please! Find another woman. Please just let me go! I don't want you. You're a fucking psycho!" I sobbed.

"I only want you because you're only mine. God made you just for me. You heard me? Just. For. Me!" He yanked me back and shouted while I screamed in pain.

"I won't harm anyone if you willingly come with me."

"I'm not an object! You'll never ever get me!"

"You rascal! How dare you touch my daughter! I'll kill you!" Dad ran toward him and landed a hard punch on his jaw.

He let go of me as I ran to my mom and hugged her. Two men ran toward dad as he hit their boss but that monster motioned them to stop.

"Look, I'm not here to hurt anyone. Just give me your daughter. She'll stay happy with me, I'll take good care of her and you'll live a happy life. Of course we'll come often to meet you. Just give me your daughter." He said as calmly as he could.

"We're not going to give our daughter to you! Get the fuck out of my house NOW!" Dad roared.

"I'm not going anywhere you son of a bitch!" I shouted.

As soon as that sentence left my mouth, his face turned red in anger. For the first time he didn't cover his anger. Clenching his teeth, he motioned his men and they started punching and kicking dad hard.

"No! Don't do this!" I screamed.

Then I heard Ellerie's scream, I quickly looked at the direction. Victor placed a knife on Ellerie's throat. On the other hand two men punching dad mercilessly. Mom and granny were crying and shouting to stop.

"Please stop this! Leave us alone! What did we do to you?! Just let us go!" I screamed and cried.

"When you already decided you won't come with me then there's nothing to do. I'm gonna kill everyone in front of you and take you away, baby girl." He smirked.

"No! Let him go!" Granny ran toward dad but a man pushed her hard as her head crushed on the kitchen counter.

Blood started spilling out from her head. Mom screamed and ran toward granny. Before I could move he again grabbed me by my hair. I screamed, landed hard slaps and punches on his chest but he neither flinched nor let me go.

"I'm not going anywhere with you! You fucking lowlife! You're a monster! A heartless monster! I fucking hate you!" I shouted.

He signaled something to his men. Then suddenly I felt something pinched on my neck as he let go of me, making me collapse on the floor. I looked behind and saw John standing there with a syringe in his hand and smirking.

"Sweet dreams, Natalia." John grinned.

I looked around but my breath stopped when I looked at the scenery of my family. Ellerie was crying and trembling on my mother's lap while mom hugged him tightly and crying. Dad and grandma's lifeless bodies were falling on the floor.

"What did you do to them? You killed them?! You fucking bastard!! I will kill you all!!"

I stood up and started punching on that monster's chest. But all of a sudden, my vision became blurry. I collapsed on the floor again.

I looked back at my pathetic, helpless family one last time which was one of the most happiest families once in this world.

Tears rolled down on my cheeks as I fell unconscious. The last thing I had heard was my mother's painful scream.

It was all my fault. I ruined everything. I ruined my lovely family. I ruined my baby brother's life. I blame myself for this traumatic incident. I became a curse for my innocent family.
