After class, I decided to take out time to study in an empty class after school hours, I believe the majority of the students must have gone home.

I took out my book to solve some of the difficult problems.

" Will go to work from here, today am on duty at the place where I work, I will just change my outfit there", I said.

Immediately I was done with what I was doing in the classroom, I decided to take my leave.

I sighted a boy and a girl kissing, "What's wrong with them, can't they get a place".

I came out of the school building and took a walk down the lonely lane to get a taxi then I heard a female screamed, " Let me go".

"What could be happening to that lady", I walked to the very spot where the act was about happening, it's Nora, she got hit and landed on the ground, they were about taking off her clothes when I walked to then and said, " "Let her go now".

They seem stubborn, they tried attacking me when I hit one of them took his weapon to fight others.

I got to learn how to fight by my father, I made sure I gave them a beating of their life as they ran off while they still can.

I went to where Nora was, she has passed out already, " Nora can you hear me", but I got no response.

I decided to take her to the school clinics for them to do the necessary things for her while I waited.

I had to call one of my friends at work to cover up for me that I will be late and am happy he agreed to it.

"Why is she not waking up anyway? who are those guys, they don't bear the green snake markings things on them, who are they?" The question kept ringing in my head.

Finally, she is awake, " Thought you will be sleeping for 48 hours," I said

"Well thank you, am feeling better now if that's what you wished to ask jerk".

" Really, miss noisy, I just saved your life out there and all I expected was a thank you from you, you are something easy, whatever business you have with those guys do settle it because I won't be there to help you next time ".

" Whatever", she replied.

"So rude", I decided to leave.

I quickly changed my outfits at work and took over my place as I started serving food. the customers according to what they requested in the menu.

It was stressful today, never knew we have lots of customers today.

After everything, we were closed for the day, I decided to wash my face before leaving, my boss called me and said, "You such a hardworking boy, you deserve this bonus am giving to you now", he handed me an envelope of money.

" Thank you so much sir", I said.

"Do have a good night's rest", he said.

I left the place and decided to take a work home tonight just to clear the thoughts that kept coming to my head every time.

Immediately I got to the house, I went straight to my mother's room to give her some snacks I got for her then I saw her on the floor lifeless.

I had to rush her down to the closest hospital nearby, have never be scared like this all my life.

Am happy he helped me but I know I don't know those guys from anywhere at all.

I called my father to let him know what happened to me.

" Hello, father?" I said.

"My princess how are you and how was school today, I notice you weren't back from school when I got home where are you now? did you go out with friends". Dad said.

Can't father ask a question one at a time," Father my driver refuse to pick me up from school today after waiting all day in school for him, I decided to take a taxi home by walking down the lonely lane at school, students were not in sight, then I got attack by some tough guys who nearly raped me, thank God, someone intervened to help me", I narrated everything to him?

" What? are you hurt? Where are you now? He asked worriedly.

"Am at the school clinic"

"Am leaving work to get you now, I already lost your brother, I can not lose you as well, as for the driver he has some explaining to do when he gets home".

" Alright father, I would be waiting for you " I ended the call.

Father came to pick me up from the hospital, he took me home and called his private doctor to check if everything is okay with my body," My father is overprotective me, am the last child he has, I lost my elder sister, then my twin brother, making me the last survivor of my family,".

" Am happy you are okay my gold, thanks to the young man that saved you" he said.

He called the driver to the sitting room, I sat looking at the driver angrily.

"Why didn't you pick my daughter from school ", father asked him

" It's not intentional sir"

"Not intentional you say, thank your stars nothing evil happened to my daughter, even not I would have killed you myself, now tell me your reasons, "He said angrily to the driver.

" My car was stopped by some tough people on my way to pick her from school, they threaten me to call her and say, I won't be able to come to pick her, let her use the taxi, then I don't know what they did to me, I slept off. I woke up only to see your calls".

"Who is after my daughter's life? you are fired get out of here" Father said.

I wondered as well, "Who exactly is trying to hurt me?.
