"I am sorry I took advantage of you and your vulnerable state, I thought it wise for you not to look me in the eyes this morning that's why I left as early as you could rise so you wouldn't wallow in sadness," Hendrick said.

She was amazed at how humane he was because he almost killed her a day before, apparently, she thought, he had a much more loving heart than her father who expected so much from her yet bever being happy with the efforts she puts into making him happy and proud. With all these thoughts she smiled a weak smile reminiscing on yesterday's crazy adventure, she just let a total stranger fuck her crazy and she enjoyed it, at least she had her father to thank for one hell of a good night she's ever had even tho it was from a total stranger.

She tried getting up that's when she felt she was sore, well he did a number on me she muttered under her breath cursing at the pain she felt.

She took her bath and cleaned herself up, the maids were going to clean the couch where she did her little dirty secret, and she smiled. This was unlike her, she'd always been the good girl wanting everything going the old fashion way so she could make her father proud at all cost never wanting it to be a disgrace to him since she expected the gender he wanted she might as well be the best at taking care his company.

She left for work, thinking how can a ruthless-looking man who is a thief and a robber be so so softhearted? At least from the movies, she'd watched robbers who were never soft-hearted when they wanted to steal they did so without thinking of the other party's feelings yet, she met a robber who was softhearted and he was comforting too she thought remembering his note. He sure has a glimpse of dignity, he is not a bad man. I just wished he'd have stayed so we talked properly, but then again, it wouldn't have changed anything and she would have known what to tell him to begin with on second thought she was grateful he left without her seeing him that morning.

A vehicle hooked and she realized she had been causing a queue for the past two minutes the greenlight had shown and those behind her were cursing her for causing traffic and making them go to work late.

She apologized and continued to work with a glow she didn't know she had in a long while.

Thinking of the Mystery man a very sexy ass and hunky man.

She got into the office looking happy and in good spirits, she hummed and went to her office while her Secretary followed her with her itinerary for the day. And she kept on reminiscing about yesterday, until she was graced with the presence of her father, note the sarcasm.

"Welcome father, she said, you may have a sit"

"I didn't come to sit" he blurted out

"I just came to remind you that you'd not take over my company If you are not married, I need an heir to take over my company when am gone, and since you're, not a male child I expect you to give me a successor, that's the only way I am making you CEO of my company".

With this, he left.

What a way to spoil her day she thought.

Where would she get a man to get married to, her priorities had always been the company and being a good daughter to her father, she only git to meet a man yesterday and it was a one-night stand. Who was she going to get to marry in the time frame that her father had imposed on her?

Her happy morning just got ruined from that and she started thinking hard, she wasn't one to keep friends and the only friend she had was out of the country studying and she didn't want to stress him out with her problems, at least he had his own to be bothered about.

She called Ruby her secretary into her office and asked if she had any options to give her, Ruby suggested she got on a dating app and try out blind dates probably she would find a spec she wanted and would continue taking care of the company besides all of her life had been in service to the company so not being able to be CEO devastated her and she was more devastated by the thought of going on numerous dates with strange guys. And age knew they would be arrogant guys amongst but what would she do she just had to do it so she could please get father once again.

She thought about Hendrick, could he make a good husband? She smiled to herself at least he can satisfy a woman crazy that was for sure. She smiled but her smile was short-lived.

She had a board meeting to attend too.

Throughout the meeting, she wasn't concentrating, thanks to Ruby who took down notes that she could review later. She was conflicted about the dating app, the marriage, the company, and her happiness.

" Was it that hard to be happy?" She thought to herself

She excused herself from the meeting and went to the bathroom where she cried easing herself off some of the stress she was going through. She left the office and drove back home, on her way home she could have sworn she saw Hendrick by her apartment entrance but she was too distressed to think about it.

She got home took her clothes off, and went under the shower for hours until she felt her skin wrinkle, she dried up and went out for an evening stroll so she could clear her head and make some decisions.

Maybe, just maybe if she had some fresh air she'd get the answers to her problems.

So she thought.
