Chapter 15

“ Now let’s tackle about basketball. I know everyone is familiar with this kind of sport .so it will be easier for me to discuss it with you right.” Our teacher said and turned his book to the next page.

“ Basketball is a sport which two teams, commonly consist of five players ,opposing each other on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective which is shooting the ball through the defenders hoop ,while preventing the opposing team from shooting the ball on their hoop.” Our teacher discussed.

“This sport first played On December 21, 1891 in Springfield, Massachusetts ,USA.” He added.

All of the boys in class are find of listening about the sport since it’s their favorite sport. Montoya and Ravila ,stopped playing nonsense and put all their attention to the professor discussing in front of us. And Violet is in the mood that’s why she also listened to our professor while discussing.

“ So I’m asking you , What is the benefit of playing basketball? We don’t just play basketball just to enjoy our free time right? Because there’s so many things to enjoy.” The Professor looked among us and pointed Thunder to answer our Question. Everyone in the room looked at him with intently. Squinting their eyes while waiting for him to answer.

“Playing basketball can improve our motor coordination, flexibility and insurance. It also encourage speed ,agility and strength. which shown positive effects on promoting a healthy body weight and encouraging more physical activity.” He said in his full voice. But yet everyone clapped and looked at him adorably.

I admit, he is handsome and smart at the same time. He looks sideways and looked at my direction in a non obvious way he curved an almost smile before he turned back and took a seat. I frown, what’s that look all about? I shrugged and started doodling on my book.

This should helped me from smiling like an idiot. I smiled again and Violet noticed my smile. She frown at me and whisper something in my ear.

“ Your fond of him?”

“ hmm, what are you talking about?” I whispered back.

“Your smiling at him.” She said ,and I blushed furiously.

“no. I’m not.” I denied ,but Violet knee better and she kept on tickling me that resulted into laughter and at the same time I fall from my chair. Which is a total embarrassing. Violet helped me up but I felt so shy that I excused myself and decided to go the comfort room to composed myself. Who would not feel embarrassed when all eyes are looking at me, especially him ,but I didn’t get mad at Violet ,because she didn’t mean it.
