Lilliana
"Lilliana! It's morning, wake up!" Aunty Sarah shouted from downstairs.
Rubbing her sleepy eyes, Lilliana turned to the side of the bed to peer at her alarm clock. The time reads 7:57am. With a small groan, she got out of bed not surprised of waking up late again today, she must have turned it off when it was ringing at 7am. That was because she absolutely hates waking up early.
Groggily getting up she got ready for school and went down to grab a piece of pancake and gulped some milk, grabbed her backpack on her way out, aunt Sarah called after her. "Lil sweetheart, be home on time today, we are having some guest coming for you 16th birthday party tonight"
Lilliana was startled by the news. Ever since she could remember, it had always just been she and aunt Sarah. She was told her parent had died in a tragic fatal accident, leaving her in the guardianship of her mother's sister, aunt Sarah. Aunt Sarah for the most part was not very social. In fact, Lilliana couldn't even remember the last time her aunt had ever had any visitor over. She was a private lady who love her space. Even Lilliana wasn't allowed out much, sending aunt Sarah to fit of rage the few times she had tried sneaking out to parties.
It wasn't worth the disappointment or the worry she caused her ever loving aunt. Of course, aunt Sarah realised she couldn't keep Lilliana holes up in the house so she always tried to do something special over the weekends or holidays that Lilliana wouldn't get from school. They never went anywhere too far from home, maybe taking her to concerts, beaches or to see the movies. The two ladies would also go out to the spa to get relaxed.
Few times, Lilliana had asked to go somewhere out of the country like London or Paris but aunt Sarah always got nervous about traveling too far. Lilliana then decided that maybe her aunt had some type of phobia when it comes to traveling on an airplane.
However, both still enjoy having fun whatever they do together.
The ladies enjoyed eachother's company, especially since aunt Sarah wasn't all that much older than Lilliana.

Getting out of the car aunt Sarah got for her, Lilliana hastily ran her fingers through her honey brown curly hair as she eyed her longtime crush, Karen, who was standing in the parking lot. With wavy blond hair and light forest green eyes that made all the girls go crazy. Karen was one of the most popular boys in school.
He was also a senior while Lilliana was a lowly junior high school. However, that didn't stop her from crushing on him. It wasn't like this crush was going to lead anywhere anyway. Aunt Sarah always kept a watchful eye on her every move and seems to disapprove of Lilliana dating anyone. On the few dates she had been on, aunt Sarah would call her frequently, worried that the boy has taken things far. Even Erica, Lilliana's best friend thinks her aunt is too protective.
For the most part, Lilliana was a good girl who didn't go out much, concentrated on her studies and had a few crushes on guys that didn't go anywhere. Realised her aunt was probably a little eccentric had her heart broken and didn't trust men. Lilliana kept her head down and kept her love life to herself for the most part.
Unfortunately, the fact that Lilliana didn't go to many parties put a damper on her reputation when it comes to boys, she supposed it was because having a girlfriend that didn't go out much was equivalent to boring.
As a consequence of her social life being non- existent, Lilliana threw herself into her studies and she really loved learning.
Faltering a little as she walks to where Karen stood, Lilliana had to pause a moment to gather her courage. Even if she was the youngest out of them, she was still a junior and had some senior level classes with Karen.
"Hey Karen!" Lilliana exclaims, walking towards the handsome guy she had been crushing for the past few months.
Karen nodded towards her, scanning her from head to toe.
"Hey Lilliana, what's up?" He was eyeing her approaching form.
"I'm good. How are you preparing for your coming paper?" She inquired.
They both had the same history class because Lilliana was advanced college level class with a lot of seniors... Karen being one of them.
"It's going alright. Hey maybe later we should get together and run over a few ideas with eachother?" He asked.
"Yea.. let's do it!" Lilliana said agreeably.
His eyes squinted as they paired at the red strawberry shape birthmark on her upper arm.
"Did you get hurt or something?"
"Oh, it's...it's nothing" Lilliana said a little embarrassed. "It's just a birthmark. I usually don't wear revealing clothes so no one can see it. But this outfit..." Twirling, so he could take in the silky strapless top and black leather combat boots "... Erica picked it out for me and I couldn't say no to her" Lilliana blushed when she realised she was rambling a bit..
" Nice. I think the birthmark looks cool" Karen said with approving nod.
"Thanks" Lilliana said grinning over his approval.
She mentally checked herself, she didn't want to look too enthusiastic over his praise.
"Well...see you" Karen nodded before adjusting his backpack on his shoulder, and walked into the school building with his friends.
"See you" Lilliana replied softly to his retreating back. He didn't even hear her as he pushed through the school's double door.

Xander, Alpha of the dark phoenix pack, stood back in the shadow of the high school watching his mate talking to Karen. He was as tall as 6ft but was able to blend into the crowd hanging around the high school building.
Maybe it was because he was only 19, many people were probably mistaking him for a senior. A couple of girls had walked by, eyeing him appreciatively.
Afterall he was an alpha and a werewolf, his frame was muscular and bulky than most of the boys in this human high school. But Xander payed the girls no mind. His eyes were focus solely on Lilliana disappearing into the building.
Clenching his first angrily, he couldn't help but wonder what to do.
Obviously, he felt the mate pull but it was not so strong that he was unable to fight it off. What would his girlfriend say when she find out? He had been with Sandra for the past 7 months and breaking off his relationship with her just because of the moon goddess had mark some girl as himself. He couldn't just develop feelings at the push of a bottom... could he?
Turning to go back to his car, Xander looked down at his phone where the screen profile was that of him and Sandra smiling up at the camera as they hugged eachother. Sandra's short blond hair and baby blue eyes made his heart twinge. How could he leave her? She had been his rock through his father's death. He loved her so much.
"I wish you're still here, dad" Xander muttered softly, staring up at the sky as if expecting an answer. As always, there's no answer, so Xander quietly entered his car and drove away..
