Chapter 6

I tightly grasp my sword because it may feel. I tried to cut it with my sword and when the rope was cut, I landed on the ground with my back.

“ARGH!” I growled at the pain but I quickly got up with a support of my sword, I tried to run even though my back hurts from the fall.

While running a knife fly toward me and luckily I saw it so I dodge it and it hit the tree behind me. God, how many traps are here?

Knife keeps flying in my direction I dodge some of them and the others cut my skin. Finally, after running away I see a light from a tree and I followed it I see a fruit, I think that was the fruit that Lux is saying.

I quickly ran before Lux gets it but unfortunately I missed a step and my ankle got injured

“Shit!”

What do I do?

Before I have time to stand up a net below me pulls me upwards so I got trap inside of it. I tried to slash it with my sword but it’s useless a pot with magma show below me and the net is slowly being pulled down.

I panicked who’s going to save me now?

“Lux, Help!” I shouted, I hope he hears me. Moments past and there is no sign of Lux, tears built in my eyes and the net is getting closer and closer on the pot full of magma.

“Help! Lux!”

“LUX!!!”

I don’t know why but after I shout the net gets torn and the next thing I know darkness devours me.

Lux POV 

After I count on three, we both run I look at Krystal she is also running as fast as she can not until she turns left after that she is gone from my sight. Traps showed up and I dodge them and run as much as I can.

While I am getting close to the tree where the fruit is the trap is getting harder and harder a knife fly towards I was supposed to dodge it not until I hear a girl scream my name and I got cut on my cheek.

“Lux! Help!”

 I quickly go to the place where the voice is avoiding some traps that is getting on my way. That voice, it sounds like Krystal. When I arrive at the place, I saw Krystal inside a sphere made of ice that protects her from the knifes that going toward her. Is that her charm? I thought she doesn’t have.

I stand in front of the sphere and swing my sword to the knife coming on my way and it flies back and hit the trees.

“Krystal are you oka- ARGH!” I got flew back and hit my back on a tree I growled and look at Krystal she looked at me with her emotionless eyes and throw a dagger on me but I dodge it

“Krystal, what are you doing?!” I got no response. Is she unconscious?

I tried to walk towards her but she surrounds me with fire and point a sword at my neck

“Krystal wake up!” I shout kick her sword out of her hand and when her back faced me I hit her nape, and she lost consciousness. The fire gone and I carry her bridal style and I carry her to the exit. What have I done?
