‘’I think we arrived on time!’’ I laughed as we arrived at the arena through my portal before the execution could be carried out. I had thrown myself forward, propelling my body toward the danger that threatened to happen. It was as if the world had shifted into slow motion. I extended my arm, desperation fueling my every move, and managed to knock the guard's arm off course, diverting the deadly arc away from its intended target, but as I blocked the guard's strike, pain seared through my side. The sword had found its mark, slashing deep into my flesh. I gritted my teeth and cursed angrily as I felt warm blood seep from the wound and splatter on the ground. ‘’Damn it!’’

The breeder’s brother gasped as he looked at me, and I could see the fear etched on his face, which made him quickly lower his head. Everyone at the square also fell on their knees and echoed my and my brother’s names.

‘’your Highness,’’ Their voices echoed in the market square, and every passerby joined in greeting us.

"Are you alright?" I forced a smile on my face as I could feel the wound thoroughly, but it stung so bad, and I hated that I had gotten hit instead. I love my beautiful body and hate getting attacked by blades because they sting.

"Your..." his voice stuttered as he looked around us and noticed that Nolan was holding Freya while Ethan was standing behind the royal guard who had almost killed her. "You are....’’ he lowered her head and let out a shout of appreciation. ‘’Thank you, Your Highness,’’ he cried out.

The girl who was beside him also bowed her head. ‘’Thank you, your highness.’’

I chuckled and reached into my pocket as I brought out my trusty hand fan. With a flick of my wrist, it unfolded into a magnificent display of vibrant colors and delicate craftsmanship. "It’s all good,'' With a smile, I held the fan, my hand movements graceful and filled with pride. ‘’I am glad that we arrived on time,’’ I said, sighing. If my brothers and I had come a little later, we could have lost the breeder who was supposed to be our breakthrough from a long curse that had affected us all.

‘’Are we done here?" the ever-impatient Ethan asked as he folded his arms behind the royal guard.

I rolled my eyes and walked towards Nolan, who held the breeder in his arms. "How is she?'' I crouched to their level and removed my jacket, using it to cover her up. She was stark naked as the day she was born, and it infuriated me that a lot of people had gathered to watch her nakedness without offering help.

‘’I think it is time to take her back to the royal home,’’ Nolan replied.

I nodded in response and stretched forth my hand to carry her, but Nolan ignored me and lifted her from the ground while I laughed. I clenched my fists as I watched him walk away with the girl. I closed my fan with a soft click and walked behind him. I should be the one carrying the girl because there was a crazy attraction that I felt toward her that I couldn’t explain. I had no idea if my brothers felt the same way, but I would make sure I made her carry my child first so I could be the first prince liberated from the curse.

‘’Your Highness,’’ Amaya rushed toward Nolan and fell to her knees right before him. ‘’I didn’t get permission from the king to stop this execution. May I know if he permitted it before you came here?’’

"How dare you stand in my way?’’ Nolan shouted at her.

I paused to stare at how he had spoken and noticed the visible vein in his neck, which made me wonder if he also felt the same way about the breeder. He was the type to avoid others, but when we planned to stop the execution, he was the first to convince Ethan to join us.

"You heard the first prince!’’ I shouted at her.

Amaya raised her head and lowered it again. ‘’I apologize, Your Highness, but I was following the orders of the Alpha King and Luna Queen. This girl had stabbed you in the neck,’’ she referred to Nolan. ''she needed to be dealt with according to the rules.''

‘’And I told you that I wanted her to die?'' Nolan questioned. ‘’I feel like crushing you with my fingers right now for treating the wolf wrongly, but I will let you be!’’

‘’I am only doing what I was ordered to do, and I never knew that......’’

Ethan laughed as he walked toward her. Once before Amaya, he crouched to her level and raised her head.

"Your Highness,’’ Amaya gasped as Ethan grabbed her throat. ‘’Have merc….’’

‘’Mercy!’’ Ethan chuckled as he tightened his grip around her throat. ‘’I saw how you threw her into the cell last night. You tore her dress, making her go naked in front of the royal guards when you knew that she belonged to us!’’

I rolled my eyes at why Ethan was acting strange. I could remember how he was against us coming to the market square. He refused to join us, and now he acted as if he was the hero when it was all my idea.

‘’I…’’ Amaya gasped for breath as Ethan let go of her neck. ‘’Apologies, my princes!’’ she lowered her head.

"You are responsible for the royal breeder, yet you let her go naked in front of everyone,’’ I added so I wouldn’t look like the odd one out of my brothers. ‘’And you hit her knowing that she was going to carry our children. Would you like me to report you to the Alpha King and Luna Queen?’’

Amaya cried out as she raised her head and lowered it repeatedly. "Pathetic,’ I muttered under my breath as I stretched my hands forward and summoned a portal into which my brothers and I entered. "Stop the execution and take them back to the royal home,’’ I ordered before closing the portal, not bothering to hear what she said.

We had saved the breeder, and that was all that mattered.

Once alone with my brothers, I cleared my throat, waiting for one of them to say something, but they all kept mute. ''no one is going to say anything?'' I asked since I was loud, while Ethan was reserved, and Nolan was not the type to talk for a long time.

"Is there a reason why you are staring at me and not taking us out of here?’’ Nolan asked.

''The teleportation will take a little while because that guard stabbed me, and it was deep,'' I faked that I was in pain and got hit at the back of my head by Ethan. "What the hell, brother!’’

"Stop acting like an idiot. We know that you are the only one with the teleportation power, and I hate that, but I want to get out of here as fast as I can.’’

I scoffed and stretched my hands forward, and the portal opened. We appeared in front of my room’s door, and I stretched forth my hand to carry the breeder, but all I got were deadly glares from Nolan. "Why are you stretching your hands towards me, and what the hell are we doing in front of your room?’’ he questioned.

‘’Because she needs to stay in my room for now. You had your chance with her, but you messed up. It is now my turn.'' I winked at him and stretched out my hand to hold the breeder, but he refused to let go. "What is your deal?'' I asked him because he was getting on my nerves, acting like he genuinely cared about the breeder when we all wanted to achieve the same thing.

"How do you mean?’’ he retorted.

Ethan came in between us and cleared his throat. ‘’I don’t know why you both are arguing, but I am out of here, and I must tell you that I don’t care about the breeder, and the only reason why I saved her was that I believed that she could break the curse that is affecting us.’’

‘’Now you both believed me when I said that I could see clearly with her around me,’’ Nolan said proudly and stared at the breeder’s face. "If she could make me see, then I will save her wherever she is in trouble, and..."

I chuckled, cutting him off. ‘’Stop acting as if she only belonged to you." I frowned and folded my arms. "If I had not called the two of you, then she would have been dead by now!’’

‘’Enough!’’ Ethan shouted at us. ‘’I will not believe whatever Nolan is saying until the full moon happens in two days. I will only trust in your words when she can wake me up from my death curse!’’ he declared and turned to leave, but our guards stopped him.

All three of them.

‘’We have a problem, my princes!'' Harry, Nolan’s guard, was the first to speak up.

I looked towards Marcus, my guard, who stood beside Harry and waited for him to say something, but he remained mute until Percy, Ethan’s guard, spoke up. ‘’The Alpha King and Luna Queen heard about what you three did, and now he has ordered that you meet him in the royal throne room !’’ He announced.

I exchanged looks with my brothers, who all had different facial expressions. Ethan had the 'I told you to look on his face' while Nolan wore his usual stoic look without showing any emotions.

"Summon your portal, Jeremy,’’ he ordered me without giving me a reason why he had said that.

‘’For what reason?'' I asked him, but he didn’t say anything else, just like always. "Fine,’’ I rolled my eyes and summoned the portal. He walked into the portal holding the breeder in his arms, and before the portal closed, he gave us an order.

‘’I need you both to go to meet Father. I shall join you once I put the breeder to rest,’’ he ordered.

‘’wait!’’ I shouted, but the portal had disappeared. ‘’Leave it to Nolan to always act like he is a few years older than us." I rolled my eyes and turned to face the personal guards. "Lead us to the throne room.’’

"Yes, Your Highness,’’ they responded, walking before Ethan and me.

"What do you think about the breeder, Ethan?'' I asked him as we walked side by side, heading towards the throne room.

‘’I have no idea what you mean by that, and I don’t care about her. All I want is to have an heir and break this damn curse,'' He replied, and I rolled my eyes, knowing that he was not going to say anything else. Out of our three brothers, he was the most secretive one, and no matter how I tried to find out what he was hiding, it was always futile.

"Keep ignoring me and watch as I become the first brother to have an heir." I scoffed and walked faster ahead of him. I had expected that he would reply, but he said nothing.

Nothing at all.
