Chapter 4 the relocation

Rolling over I used my hand to navigate where my buzzing phone could be, usually, it's on my bedside table so why can't I feel the table much less my fucking phone. I open my eyes fully and take in my surroundings... so that's why I can't find my bedside table, I was not at home. My memories from last night gradually returned to me with full force.

I remember talking to Imaani. And then not being able to sleep and heading to the club, probably where I met this girl and now I'm in her bed.

I pick up my clothes and started dressing up when I noticed the strange girl in the bed stirring awake.

"Hey, leaving so soon?" She asked groggily and crawled on the bed to the end towards me

"Yeah" I replied plainly

"Maybe we can occupy ourselves throughout today it's a weekend after all," she said seductively

"No. Thank you for last night though" I picked up my phone and made my way towards the elevator in complete haste to leave this place immediately.

"So when can we do this again?" She asked wrapping the sheets around herself and making her way towards me while I'm waiting for the fucking elevator to turn up.

"Not any time soon, good day" I added as I heard the loud relieving DING from the elevator, I've never been more grateful to see an elevator

On my way down, I sent a few necessary text messages and made my way to my car got in and drove away.

I'm in desperate need of a nice shower.

My phone starts to ring I press a few buttons and connect it to the car's Bluetooth. I couldn't start searching for my earpods.

"Smith"

"Hello sir it's Mason"

"I know it's you Mason I have your number saved"

"Oh yeah, i...I knew that sir"

"So What do you have for me, Mason?"

"Oh yes so we were able to purchase the new house you wanted over there and I've gotten the perfect buyers for the house, they took a tour today"

"Good"

Silence

"Is that all Mr Dunbar?"

"Uh y..yes sir that's all, all you need to do now is go move into your house that's all."

"Thanks have a nice day" I replied and ended the call

I'd always have a house in here. I still have the first penthouse that I never lived in, I don't remember why I bought but it's there.

Parking my car in front of CLUB INDIGO, the club belongs to my best friend, Micheal. Micheal spends the majority of his time here unless he decides to take a break and distract himself from his work.

I made my way into the club without even stopping for the bouncer to check. I hear some grumbling behind me as I walked inside. I Walk straight to Michael's office upstairs, ignoring the various stares from women around me some of which I may have slept with

"Hey handsome been a while" Charlotte one of the club strippers I fucked, came and stopped in front of me placing her palm on my chest.

"Not now Charlotte I'm busy"

"Ughh you're always busy don't tell me you don't miss all this," she referred to her body

"No, I don't. Please, excuse me" I moved her to the side and continued to make my way up the stairs to Michael's office

"And it's Christy, not Charlotte" I heard her reply over the noise

"Whatever"

"Good day sir" Nolan, Michael's security greeted

"Is he in?" I asked talking about his boss

He nodded so I walked in hoping to God it was not something horrifying like the last time

"Thank God! I thought I'd have to witness another torture again" I lay on the couch

"That's what you get for not knocking. and I thought you'd have learnt your lesson by now."

"Why do I have to knock?"

" Because it's my office and I can be busy besides its common courtesy...something I know you lack" he added the last part with a glare thrown towards me.

"You live here. you have a room here for fucks sake! why fuck in your office?"

"It's more....eventful," Micheal said smiling stupidly.

Dumb bitch.

"That's beside the point, why are you still dressed in last night's clothes?"

"Went home with some chick, besides I finally sold my house I'm moving away."

" You're leaving huh?" He asked pretending to wipe a fallen tear.

"Fuck you" I glared at him.

"I'm being serious here you're my best friend and you're leaving me I have the right to cry....also a hug," he said coming towards me with open arms.

"Fuck No!" I exclaimed before leaving.
