"Welcome Recruit 609" a voice said as the girl stood up.

Feranmi removed her school bag from her back as she laid on the panel.

"Straight from school?" A guy asked her. Feranmi glanced at the guy and didn't reply.

The blue beams ran over her to and fro and Feranmi stood up.

"You are ignoring me?" The guy asked again.

"No. You are asking am obvious question, I'm still wearing my uniform and you are asking me if I'm coming straight from school. Where else then?" Feranmi asked and her voice had unknowningly caught everyone's attention.

The guy lips curved up slightly as he turned "Pi, isn't this the recruit from Akure? The one with the 17 medals and straight As?" The guy asked as everyone turned to Feranmi.

"She is" A guy replied as everyone started staring at Feranmi.

The guy smiled at Feranmi "Welcome to N. S. T. S, I'm Barley" Barley said as Feranmi burst into laughter.

"Barley as in Barley?" Feranmi asked.

Barley smiled completely taken off guard by her beautiful laugh.

"Yeah" Barley replied.

"So Barley is your code name, that's ridiculous" Feranmi said as London waved to her.

"Hey recruit, come over here and finish your registration" London said as Feranmi frowned and picked up her school bag.

"I told you I have a name, stop calling me recruit" Feranmi said as she walked towards him.

"Frost, why didn't you say she was hot?" Someone said and everyone burst into laughter.

London stood up from his seat, "Have a seat" London said as he turned to the guy beside him.

"Frost, do help her with the rest of her registration" London added as he walked away.

"Hello, I'm Frost" Frost said as Feranmi took in his features. Pratically every one in N. T. S. S had a lean structure. Frost as well was lean and was dark on complexion. However, his handsome face shone with the dark complexion, his slim fingers ran across the keyboard as he turned to Feranmi.

"Your recruit number is 1667NSTS, never forget that" Frost said.

"1667NSTS" Feranmi repeated as she nodded.

"Weight?" Frost asked.

"46" Feranmi replied.

"You have to weight 40" Frost replied as Feranmi's eyes widened.

"40? Isn't that too much? How am I supposed to drop 8kg?" Feranmi asked.

"Reduce your consumption of fat. Your training will still allow you to lose weight though" Frost replied as he continued reeling off questions and Feranmi replied.

"Why are you called Frost when you personality isn't cold or frosty at all?" Feranmi asked.

"You've never seen him in action that's why" a girl said.

"He's pretty scary" another guy added.

"Mars" the girl said.

"Mars as hottest planet?" Feranmi asked as Mars nodded.

"You are right" Mars said with a smile.

"Tatsuya but call me Tat" the girl said.

"You love animes?" Feranmi asked as Tat's face showed surprise.

"You watch animes?" Tat asked.

Feranmi nodded "A lot" Feranmi replied.

Frost glanced at Feranmi as he chuckled, she seemed more interesting than he thought.

"Now you have to choose your code name" Frost said as Feranmi pursed her lips.

She had being thinking of what to use as her code name ever since London told his codename. A lot of names had rushed to her brain but none seemed plausible for her.

"14" Feranmi replied as Frost face showed a hint of surprise.

"14?" Frost asked.

"Yeah" Feranmi replied.

"Why? 14 is just a number" Mars said.

"My elder brother's name has 14 letters" Feranmi replied.

"Whoa" Tat said.

Frost turned to Feranmi "Your registration is complete" Frost said.

"All new recruits please follow the red line to the central hall" a voice sounded in Feranmi's head.

Feranmi frowned and the voice repeated the statement again.

"The body scanning, were audio transmitters implanted in our bodies?" Feranmi asked as everyone turned to her in surprise.

'How did you know?" A guy asked.

Feranmi stood up and carried her bag "This is complicated" Feranmi muttered leaving the dazed teens behind. She placed her hand on the panel and the door slid open. There was a red line above as it showed a sign of moving ahead.

"Hey!" Someone called out behind Feranmi. Feranmi turned and saw the girl from Port Harcourt running towards her.

"Hey, my code name is PH" the girl said excitedly.

"PH?" I asked in surprise.

"Yeah, PH as in Port Harcourt" PH said and I smiled as I nodded.

"Cool right?" PH asked and Feranmi nodded.

"What about you?" PH asked.

"14" Feranmi replied.

"Whoa! That's super cool" PH said as Feranmi offered her a small smile. The red line seemed to go on until they reached a huge hall.

The other new recruits were already standing there. Feranmi frowned at the shortage of girls. There were 9 boys and 5 girls.

"Attention all new recruits, I am Vice Commander Babby. Welcome to Nigeria Teenage Secret Spies. When we visited each of you, we explained the purpose and the objectives of this organization to you so I won't repeat it. However, you must know that; the security and prosperity of this nation lies in your hands. You must be ready train and endure the hardships. Am I clear?"

"Yes sir" the new recruits chorused.

"When a commander or a captain talks to you, your reply is, sir, yes sir. Understood?" Babalola asked.

"Sir, yes sir!" They chorused.

"Sub Captain Creek, I'll hand them over to you" Babby said as he walked away.

A guy walked to the podium and put his arms behind his back.

"Welcome to N. S. T. S. , I am sub captain Creek, and I will be handling all your physical trainings, you'll meet the remaining sub captains later. Now, you'll be given room numbers and you'll follow the green light to find the female dormitories and follow the red line to find the male dormitories" Creek said.

"Your suits have being placed on your beds and change into them immediately. Your gadgets will not be handled over to you yet as you have no need for them at the moment. Familiarize yourself with yourselves and by 5am tomorrow, I'll meet you here. If I get here before you or you get here 5:01, you'll get punished. Dismissed" Creek said as he walked out of the hall.

"That guy is so cute" PH squealed.

"Have you seen any guy I'm N. S. T. S. who is not?" A girl asked as Feranmi turned to her.

"Mimi is the code name" the girl said.

"I'm PH" PH said.

"14" Feranmi said as she continued following the green line.

"14? That's cool" Mimi said.

"Hello, I'm Moon" a girl said as Feranmi smiled slightly.

"Hello Moon, I'm PH and this is 14 and Mimi" PH replied.

"Hello" Mimi said with a smile.

"Hi, I'm Crest" the last girl said timidly.

"Hello Crest" PH and Moon chorused.

It was when the girls got to the female dormitories, Feranmi noticed the organization was actually a large place, they had used 15 minutes to walk from the central hall to the female dormitories.

They all walked into the dormitory. There we're seven bunks in the room with five unmade beds.

"I guess the unmade beds are ours" Mimi said as she walked towards an unmade bed.

Feranmi walked towards an unmade bed and sat down.

"Welcome recruit, pleaae state your code name?" A voice asked.

"14" Feranmi replied.

"Please place your left thumb on the scanner" the voice said as a scanner protruded by the side of the bed. Feranmi placed her thumb on it as two drawers opened. Inside one of the drawers were three black suits with N. S. T. S written on it and two cream colored ones with N. S. T. S inscribed on it.

Two coloured bedsheets and pillow case laid in the second drawer. Feranmi removed one of the black suits and proceeded to remove her uniform. The black suit hugged her body and Feranmi couldn't help but be awed.

Feranmi quickly folded her uniform back into the drawer and she removed one of the bedsheets and pillowcase. She quickly laid her bed.

"Oh my god! 14, you look stunning!" Moon exclaimed as Feranmi smiled a little.

"You are pretty" PH said with a wink.

A loud siren vibrated as the girls exclaimed glances.

"What was that for?" Crest asked quietly.

"All new recruits, pleaae follow the blue line to the dinning hall" a voice said.

"Well that answers your question" Feranmi replied as she hung her headset around her neck and slid her phone into the suit pocket before heading out of the room.

It took them about 4 minutes to get to the dinning hall. Everyone turned to them and many of them eyes lingered on Feranmi.

"All new recruits please climb the podium" a guy said as they climbed the podium.

"Please give it up for our newest N. S. T. S. members" the guy said as the dinning hall roared with applause.

"Welcome to N. S. T. S peeps, I go by the codename, E, do introduce yourself to the audience, ladies first" the guy said as some people laughed.

Crest bit her lip as her eyes remained on her new boots.

"Hello, I'm Crest" Crest said.

"Awwwn.... She's a shy type" E cooed as everyone burst into laughter.

"Hello everyone, I'm Mimi" Mimi said with a small smile.

"Welcome Mimi, shes confident mehn" E said as everyone clapped.

"Hello, I'm PH, nice to meet you" PH said with a wide smile.

"Gee.. What a beautiful smile, welcome to N. S. T. S, PH" E said as everyone clapped again.

"Hello, I'm Moon" Moon said as she waved.

"The moon is always pretty even the bearer is pretty too, welcome Moon" E said as everyone clapped.

Feranmi chuckled at E's flirting skills. Something told her he was no go area. As Feranmi opened her mouth to speak E beat her to it.

"Skip, next" E said.

The dinning roared with comments as the guy next to her began to speak.

"Hello, I'm Ozil" the guy said as the guys started hailing him.

The guys continued to introduce themselves until Feranmi heard a familiar voice. Her big eyes widened upon seeing the guy who was talking.

"So he passed too" Feranmi muttered.

"14, you know him?" Moon asked.

"Rival" Feranmi replied.

"Your rival?" Moon asked.
