TWO DAYS LATER...

FERANMI'S EYES widened as she walked into the compound and found her dad's car in the compound. Another sleek Lexus Jeep with an unusual number plate was also parked beside it. Her dad never came home before 6pm.

Feranmi hurried into the house as her eyes widened slightly. Her dad and mom were seated on the soft cushions with serious looks on their faces. Opposite them were two men in black suits and sun glasses.

One of them was talking to her parents and Feranmi found it surprising that she couldn't even read the man's lips. His lips seemed not to be moving but he was talking. She hurried removed her MP3 from her head as she walked towards them.

"Mom, Dad, what's up? What are you doing at home?" Feranmi asked as the two men turned to her.

Feranmi frowned when her parents didn't reply,  "Why the serious face? Did something happen?" Feranmi asked again getting scared. Her parents serious faces were too serious. Something major must have happened.

"Miss Adekola, why don't you have a seat first" one of the men spoke as Feranmi turned to him in surprise.

"Who are you?" Feranmi asked bluntly.

"Oluwaferanmi, take a seat first" Her mom said and her parents made space for her in between them and Feranmi carefully dropped her school bag on one of the cushions while she hung her headset around her neck before seating down.

"How'd you know my name?" Feranmi asked.

"I'm in your house and talking to your parents. Is knowing your name not normal?" The man asked as Feranmi tilted her head and nodded.

Feranmi turned and that was when she noticed a lean figure beside the second man. He was clad in a skye blue shirt and jeans. His brows were perfectly shaped and his lips looked so lush that Feranmi wanted to suck on them right then and there. He turned to her and Feranmi found herself staring at the most beautiful pair of eyes she had ever seen.

Feranmi was never a fan of eyes colour. She had always rolled her eyes whenever Ink talked about guys with different eye colours. The guy charcoal black eyes were surprising beautiful. Feranmi held her breath as she stared at him.

He was hell ass hot!

If Ini was there, Feranmi could bet she'll be drooling and saliva would be pouring our of her mouth. Feranmi chuckled slightly at the thought.

"Miss Adekola, I first want to congratulate you for passing the entrance exam to become a spy" the first man said as Feranmi's eyes widened.

"A.... Spy?" Feranmi stuttered as she regained her composure. She laughed hysterically.

"That was funny and at the same time, its not" Feranmi said finding the whole situation hilarious. She leaned on the armchair before she resumed talking.

"If so when did I take the exam?" Feranmi asked.

"You took it two days ago" the man replied still maintaining a faint smile.

"Two days ago? I didn't... " Feranmi started as she paused in the middle.

"Wait! That ridiculous exam was an entrance exam to become a spy? You've got to be kidding me" Feranmi said and the other man almost wanted to laugh.

Ever since they've been recruiting teenage spies, this girl reaction was the funniest.

"You don't go playing silly jokes on others miser, why are you in my house?" Feranmi asked.

The first man smiled as he reached into his pocket and brought out an ID card.

"My name is Fredrick Osagwe, the current commander of the Nigerian Secret Teenage Spies" the man said as he handed the ID card over to Feranmi.

Feranmi eyes widened as she ran her eyes over the ID card. She raised her head to scan the faces of the trio before she glanced at her parents.

This man, he wasn't joking!

"Whoa" that was the first word that came out from Feranmi's mouth as she returned the card.

"You are one of the many few who have passed this exam, congratulations" Fred said.

"Thank you and how many are we, the 'many few' you mentioned?" Feranmi asked.

"15" Fred replied.

"That's cool, per state or region or what?" Feranmi asked.

Fred laughed slightly displaying his dentals. Feranmi sucked in her breadth immediately. He was one fine middle aged man.

"In the country, only 15 people have been selected" Fred replied as Feranmi's eyes widened.

"In the whole country?" Feranmi asked in shock.

"Yes" Fred replied.

"How many people write this exam every year?" Feranmi asked.

"An average of 500,000 people, about 700,000 people wrote this year" Fred replied.

Feranmi sucked in her breadth as she and Ini's previous discussion came running to her.

"Ini was right, it did have a purpose" Feranmi muttered to herself.

Fred continued talking and explaining to Feranmi the basics of the organization and the usefulness of it. Feranmi's eyes would widened at some moments and she would ask questions.

The teenager seated beside the two men frowned in displeasure. He had no idea why the Commander would ask him to come along with them to recruit a S. T. S. It had never happened before.

Her parents had been flabbergasted when Fredrick explained to them and the mother wanted to faint. He wouldn't blame them though. He had stormed out of the sitting room when those people came to his house two years ago.

He didn't want to believe some people who come and play such expensive jokes on him. He even thought they had forged the ID card. It was unbelievable. No one knew anything about the organization, not even the President.

Seeing the recruit had dried up his salivary gland. Her brown skirt had stopped a little above her knees showing off her long legs. The long socks too had stopped at her knees, only showing off part of her slightly fair skin. Her shirt and jacket had hugged her body perfectly, more like it was tailoured for her.

Her face was another matter all together. Her brows were drawn perfectly. Her big eyes complimented her small face. Her small lips looked lush and he had to bite on his own lower lip to prevent the urge of grabbing her and swooping down on her lips.

She didn't notice him at first which made him uncomfortable and by the time she did; he didn't miss the look in her eyes. She almost drooled, every female did that whenever they saw him. She had laughed for a reason he couldn't decipher.

Her reaction to the whole episode was pretty expected but she quickly got herself after a while. Seth frowned as his eyes went to the glass wristwatch on his hand. He tapped on it as it showed a timer. He has less than two hours to reach the club house else he would miss the Intel he needed.

"You have to report to this address" Fred said giving Feranmi a piece of paper.

Feranmi frowned "I know this place, its a boutique. I've bought clothes there before" Feranmi replied with a small smile.

Fred nodded and smiled "You know your town quite well, however report there. Walk straight to the sales girl and tell her..... Hmmmm... Seth, what's the week password?" Fred asked as she turned to the younger teenager.

Feranmi's eyes went to the younger teen immediately. He hadn't spoken a word and a frown marred his handsome face.

"Bentley" Seth replied as he stood up "I have less than two hours, can I go now?" Seth asked through clenched teeth.

Feranmi's jaw dropped at the deep rich voice. She could swear she had a turn on that moment.

"Sure" Fred replied with a wider smile.

Seth glared at the older male as he walked out of the house without a word to anyone.

"Then, we'll leave you now" Fred said as Feranmi and her parents walked the two men to their car. The gateman opened the gate and they watched as they drove off.

Feranmi walked back into the house as she turned to face her parents.

"I know that the moment I accepted to a N. S. T. S, my life is going to change. I'm going to be getting a lot of responsibilities. I'm proud to know I'll be protecting my country" Feranmi said as her mom drew her in for a hug.

"I'm so proud of you" Feranmi's mom said with a teary face.

"You know this stays a secret right?" Her dad asked as Feranmi nodded her head.

"No one, I repeat no one, you mustn't tell anyone" her dad said as Feranmi nodded.

"You didn't tell her to keep it a secret" Babalola said picking a sachet of chocolate from the back of the car.

Fred removed his sun glasses as an extremely handsome mam came into view. Fred turned to his assistant.

"Did I have to? She's pretty smart too" Fred replied.

"Yeah, she's one interesting character" Babalola added.

"Pull out her records for the past two years, all records, not just academic records" Fred said as he turned into a desolate street.
