Noah Blanco Corsini POV

I woke up, flinching and quickly hopping off the bed when I didn't find Selena next to me. For a moment, I thought I had simply been imagining her the whole time, as if I had never actually met that girl before. But when I spotted her dress and bags on the floor, it made me sigh in relief. After the passionate night I had experienced with her, and the fact that she looked like an absolute goddess, I had briefly worried that I had been delusional.

I shouted out her name, but she didn't answer, and my heart started racing - which was strange, because I had always considered myself to be heartless. "What if she left?!" I thought, scratching my forehead anxiously. Just then, Selena emerged from the shower room, smiling slightly. "Good morning, Mr. Noah," she greeted.

I raised my eyebrows, trying to calm myself down, as if I could never get enough of her gorgeous body. She was already wearing a casual pink dress, but even so, her smile was breathtaking and adorable - it had a profound effect on me.

"Oh, the cat got your tongue?!" she teased, giving me a smug look as she stepped closer to me. I was left gaping at her, speechless. I desperately wanted to pull her back onto the bed, but the cynical voice inside me whispered, "Noah, don't show her how much you like her."

I frowned and tried to hide my real emotions behind a mask. "Just checking why I asked you to be in a relationship with me! You look normal!" I said with a sardonic smirk. Okay, I lied - she looked absolutely adorable, even with her already arrogant demeanor.

She was wearing her high heels as she replied, "Normal?! Huh?! Don't touch me again! Bye for now." She winked and waved at me, then shut the door of the suite behind her.

I stood up, rubbing my forehead in confusion. "What? Where's she going now?"

I took a quick shower and changed my clothes, instructing one of the guards to keep an eye on her and stick to her like a shadow. As I looked at myself in the mirror, I felt the need to look more handsome, though I wasn't sure why. But I knew I desired it.

I strode out of the suite and called the guard. "Where is she?"

"Sir, she's by the pool and she's drinking," the guard informed me. I hung up and went down to the pool area.

'Drinking so fucking early?! She's weird!' I thought as I hastened to the pool bar and pulled up a chair next to her.

"You are drinking this early?" I raised an eyebrow at her, but before she could answer, the bartender poured one of my special cocktails for me.

She dropped her jaw, then laughed hysterically. "What?! I thought you said 'early' and now you're drinking early just like me?" she said in disbelief.

I nodded. "Yes, I do drink most of the time! What are you drinking, Selena?"

She blurted out, "A mix of tequila and triple sec!" She gulped shot after shot, ignoring me. I was in awe, watching her drink like a seasoned pro - I had never met a girl like her before! She could probably outdrink me.

She suddenly turned her head to me and glared. "Why are you looking at me this way?!"

I narrowed my eyes. "Who the hell are you, for God's sake?! Why did you come into my life?!"

She swung her head and pouted her lips. "I am your worst nightmare," she chuckled. Suddenly, we heard a child's scream from the pool. He was drowning, and everyone was just standing there, watching.

I stood up, yelling, "Where are the swimmers?! Where're the lifeguards?! Why is this kid swimming in this deep part?!"

Suddenly, I heard a splash, and Selena made a professional jump into the pool. In seconds, she had dragged the child out and was administering aid. I was speechless, watching her unique and efficient technique. She didn't use the usual movie-style methods - she was truly a pro.

She hollered, "Give me a towel now! Move your butt!" commanding me sternly with an angry tone.

I gestured to my guards and the waitstaff to provide her with a towel. Of course, everyone was fired after this incident. If Selena hadn't been there, the child would have drowned, and it would have hurt my business and reputation.

The child, who was around eight years old, was revived, and his parents rushed to hug and thank Selena. She then offered to provide the kid with swimming lessons, which he eagerly accepted.

Selena stood up and tossed me a disgusted look. "I want to talk to you in private now!" she demanded.

I followed her, unsure of where she was leading me. She stopped in an empty area near the kitchen and raised her brows. "Not everything is all about money! You should take care of the people's lives!"

"Why are you giving me those disgusting looks?! I'm not the lifeguard!" I asked her, genuinely curious.

"I'm not!" she said, as if she wanted to tell me that she knew who I was.
