Mistress
• | Adriel's POV | •
Allen dragged me into his car. The event just ended and I couldn't say goodbye to those I talked to before.
He slammed the frontseat door shut as he sat down. I was shocked when he suddenly hit the steering wheel of the car.
"What's the matter with you Allen?" I asked angrily.
"What did I tell you kagabe?"
"Don't follow you and don't watch over you."
"Oh what did you do?"
I raised my eyebrows at him. "Why are you the reason I went to that event?"
I have to try him now.
"That's why you don't want me to watch your every move so you can meet your mistress freely. Is that so Allen? Don't worry I won't watch you anymore and Paul was the one I went to earlier and not you."
He took her cellphone. I'm sure Paul is the one he'll call. I'm nervous.
"You invited him to the event?"
As I listened to their conversation I slowly looked at Allen. The reason I can still breathe freely today.
"Okay."
I turned my gaze back to the front because he might find me staring at him. They finished talking to Paul. What might Paul have said to Allen? did he cover up my lies?
"What's wrong with you and Paul?"
I immediately turned away because of his question. Suddenly something entered my brain that made me smile.
"No, why are you jealous?"
He chuckled. "Why would I Adriel?"
Suddenly my smiles were erased. What I did was useless because he wasn't jealous. I even used Paul for that plan.
I fastened my seatbelt because I wanted to go home. I am tired.
"I'm not going home."
"B-why?"
He removed my seatbelt. "Ellen is coming she will take you. Come down."
A expensive vase has dropped and shattered. That was the pain I felt. Crushed by his piercing stares.
My tears were about to fall when I suddenly bowed. I don't want him to see me cry. I don’t want him to see me hurt. I got out of the car and quickly ran to a car just parked.
I went inside and burst into tears.
"E-ellen why is he doing this to me? The pain is already painful!" I groaned.
I felt his palms on my back. My two hands covered my face so I could not see his face.
"Ellen I want to give up but I can't ... I-I want to breathe!"
I sat up and looked at Paul ?! Why is he here?
"W-what—"
"Cry all you want, lean your head here ..." He tapped her shoulder.
The car stopped outside Allen and I's house. We are silent both. I can think of no one but Allen. I know where he stays whenever he avoids me. I wonder if he is eating at the right time. I know who cooks for him. I know who washes her clothes.
I really love Allen more than my self. Even if he hurts me over and over again it is okay with me because I swear to god that I will understand him no matter what happens.9

It's been a few weeks since Allen and I last met at the event. For weeks I didn’t follow him, I didn’t watch him and I didn’t call him. I let him. Because I love him he will come home to me.
I am now busy making cake. I couldn't do anything so I just made a banana cake so I could have something to eat later when I'm hungry.
I was busy washing my cake stand when someone called my phone. I dropped the tupperware when Allen called! I answered it immediately.
"H-hello?"
"Ahm ... are you free tonight Adi?"
My heart seemed to melt because he called me by my nickname. I really like it when Allen calls me Adi because I feel like he's comfortable with me.
"Of course, why?"
"I'll pick you up later, bye."
"Wait where is—"
I never finished what I was going to say because the line was suddenly cut. But even so I was happy because Allen invited me. I finished my banana cake to get ready. Maybe he'll pick me up at three o'clock tonight.
I put on my silver stiletto. My heel matched the color of my white dress above the knee. Well I love white.
I heard a horn outside and I'm sure it was Allen. I grabbed my bag and chinecked to see if I had anything left. I also wore the necklace that Allen gave me before our wedding.
I looked in the mirror again before leaving the room. I went downstairs and found Allen sitting softly at the dining table while eating my cooked banana cake.
I smiled. He ate my cooking.
"Is it delicious?" I suddenly asked. He nodded. "It's good that you liked it, because I couldn't do anything before so I just baked."
"Let's go." He stood up and also stopped to see me. I followed what he was looking at.
I gently touched the necklace I was wearing. Maybe he was surprised that it was still here even 3 years ago since he gave it to me.
"It's still alive ..."
I nodded. I approached him and slowly hugged him. I hugged him so tightly that I didn't want to let him go. I smiled when he didn't push me away. He let me hug him.
"I miss you ..." I whispered as my tears flowed.
I let go of my hug with him. I smiled at him. I was about to continue walking when he stretched out my arm and hugged me.
That event seemed to slow down. Only now did I feel his embrace again without hesitation.
When he let go of my hug I saw the shock on his face. Maybe he was surprised because of what he did. Napakunok ako.
"Let's go ..." He walked first and I followed.
Hopefully tomorrow we will be okay.
