I got down from the barrel to hide in the shades, Kabir catches me from his room window and yelled.

He was like if I dare move out of the rain and under the shades, he going to make my life a living hell.

I'm guessing he meant that or he's just being an asshole, he slammed his window doors again and switched off the light.

Will I listen to him, firstly if I do decide to listen, I might end up catching a cold, but if I don't, I'll have a shade to protect me from the rain

I'd like not to catch a cold,  in the end, what's the worst that can happen.

I ran into an outhouse and locked myself in, it was filled with old items and I circled surveying everything through my phone light.

There was a huge frame covered at the side, of all things covered there, I had a strange urge to open it.

I got close, dragged the frame up, and just about weaving the clothing of the frame, the doors were banged open, I turned to the door and Kabir was seen smoking an angry gaze at me.

"Didn't I tell you to stay under the rain," he locked the door, "why are you so stubborn Samantha," he gets closer.

I withdrew my feet alarmed by his behavior, the whole place was filled with so many covered things that while attempting to move from Kabir, my hand accidentally dragged the cloth covering the frame, and I came facing a startling scene.

Oh my gosh!. It's Kabir's wife.

The frame was a photo of Kabir and Ayan with a woman next to him.

She looked so beautiful and Kabir in the photo smiled.

I have never seen him smile, what came about the cold attitude.

Kabir froze staring at it, his eyes slowly turned red, his hand started to shake, and without wailing, he left me thinking what the hell just happened.

I ran after him and stormed into the house

"Sir, Kabir"

I called

"Leave me alone Samantha, I am not in the mood,"

He yelled running into the room.

I am not going to listen, there was something strange about his behaviors since he saw the frame.

I ran to meet with him but he got into his room and locked the door before I got get in.

I knocked on it.

Kabir didn't respond, I turned around leaving when I heard him shouting inside his room.

I listened to his outcries and the noise of things breaking inside the room

.

"Kabir,"

Lacking reasoning, I called his name, forgetting to settle the sir in it.

Kabri didn't say anything rather the noise from his room got so loud that I had no choice but to get Mr. David for help.

He comes and we got into Kabir's room just to find him seated on the ground.

He looks at us but didn't say anything.

Kabir falls his head on the ground and curves like a shrimp, I didn't understand what was going on, but couldn't bear seeing him in such a state.

...

I begged Mr. David to get me a cup of lemon tea, it can help Kabir get a little of his sanity.

He left in a hurry, I ran to Kabir and carried his head up to my lap, he stays there and continued strutting a name.

"Alisha,"

Who the hell is Alisha and why is he chanting her name, perhaps is it the woman in the frame.

Mr. David comes back with the lemon tea, I sat Kabir on his bed and gave him to drink it.

He takes it from me and emptied the glass.

After sending Kabir to sleep, I took the glass and came down to see Mr. David sprinting out of Ayan's room.

He takes a stop and tries to speak, I placed the glass aside and instructed him to tell me what was going on.

"Miss Samantha, Ayan is missing"

He confides.

My heart almost gave up, like what the hell is he talking about, I couldn't believe anything until I ratified.

I vacated and ran to Ayan's room, I barged in and was shocked, noticing he wasn't home.

Where on earth could he be?.

I came down and Mr. David had his phone to his ears, he sends me a disturbing signal and I do know what that mean.

If by chance Kabir gets to know about this, I'll be going to jail, and for a very long time.

I picked up my phone from my room and on my way downstairs to meet Mr. David, I heard Kabir's phone ringing.

He couldn't get up to answer and so I did, I picked up the call and the first thing I heed was Ayan's voice.

And in the background, a man shouted at him.

I tried to get more information, thankfully I got to know more by tracing the call.

It sends me and Mr. David to an old cottage, it was so messed up that I thought I might have gotten the address mixed up

"Miss Samantha, please go in and I'll inform the police,"

Mr. David indicated.

I ratified and swiftly made my way to the front door, I couldn't just barge in and request for  Ayan, and so, I looked through the broken window, I spotted a man wearing a mask and behind him was Ayan tied up to a chair.

Somehow he sees me outside and started to shiver, they were two men with him, they veered to see what was going on, quickly I hid off before I could get snagged.

A text from Mr. David comes and he said, he was on the way with the police.

I couldn't conceivably wait, I told him to come fast and turned around to search for a way to save Ayan.

One of the men walked outside to pee, he had attention elsewhere and behind I slowly went close and smashed his head with a blank.

He falls asleep, I grabbed another and walked into the cottage.

Ayan sees me coming, I gave a sign he shouldn't make a sound, the other man there was busy talking on the phone, I held the blank tight and the minute I tried to hit him with it, he turns around and caught me red-handed.

Holy shit!.

He tossed his phone away and brought out a gun, I fell the blank on the ground, hoping to fish out a nice avenue to get myself and Ayan out of danger.

"Who're you?"

The man sanctioned.

"I am Anna, I was sent by your boss,"

I told an untruth.

The man takes a good look at me, he takes the gun down and I had a sigh of relief.

"Wait, did Mr. Abdul send you?".

He added.

I had no clue who Abdul was, but thinking of Ayan's safety I had to lie again.

"Sure, he asked me to bring the little boy," I told sounding so confident.

He whizzed and to much awe, he removed the rope from Ayan's hand and pushed him to me.

I thanked him and while confronting the door, I met a shock, the same man whom I gave the document, Kabir told me to, was gradually making his way to us.

What the hell is going on?.
