Chapter 4 – Dreaming

Perfection.

That’s the right word to describe Luke Hastington, yes perfection. He's so perfect, from head to toe he's just a definition of perfect.

Now they’re signing the contract and close the deal, I want to stop the time for a little bit because I'm starting to get anxious. I don’t want to leave.

Too bad the time didn't slow down. I was hoping for something impossible. My dad shook their hands to close the deal and then I shook their hands and stopped when I hold Luke's hand. I looked at his blue eyes and he just looked at me annoy. He wanted to let go my hand but I held it tightly not wanting to let it go.

I smiled to him and I asked "Can I have your phone number?"

"No.”

"Can I have your email?" I asked.

"No.” He said it coldly and I'm not going to give up.

"I want to marry you." I stated and his eyes widen in horror, am I too bold?

"Are you crazy?" He asked and suddenly someone pulled my hand.

"Let's go Hailey! I'm sorry for my daughter's behavior." My dad apologized and I pulled my hand from his grip. I turned to Luke and found all of them already looking at me shock.

Oh great.. I need to find a way to stick with him, I turned to Rose.

"Rose, can I have your phone number?" I asked and when she was going to answer me, Max gestured her not to.

"Can you just go out?" Ken said that and I glared at him.

"Hailey!" My dad took my wrist and I was pulled out from meeting room.

"Daddy!"

"You're unbelievable. It's impossible for you to reach them Hailey!

"Why? We're rich. We’re on the same boat as them, you can find a connection to get me closer to him." I said simply and my dad shook his head.

"Hailey, that's stupid okay. I'll give you everything except him." He stated angrily and pressed the lift button. I crossed my arms in front of my chest and hissed. The lift door opened and my dad walked inside, he was waiting for me but I pouted annoy.

"Let's just go home Hailey.”

"No.”

"Don't make me go angry with you." He said.

"Can I have a talk with her for a second sir?" I turned to see Rose Hastington walking towards me and my dad looked at her with questioning eyes.

"Okay." I smiled widely and my dad sighed.

"I'll take her home sir, you can go home first." Gosh I love her! The lift door closed and I turned to her.

"Thankyou for saving me." I said and she chuckled.

"So I see you have an interest to my brother." She smirked and I smiled awkwardly.

"I was acting bold and weird huh?" I asked and she laughed.

"Not weird but just a little bit bold, I caught you staring at him the whole time."

"He was annoyed by that huh?”

"A little bit but ignored him, he's just like that but he's really sweet person once you know him." She smiled and that made me curious about him more.

"So do you want to know his number?" My eyes widen and I found myself nodding crazily.

"Don't you dare give her my number, Rose!" I looked at behind Rose, Luke was standing there looking so handsome as ever. He walked towards us.

"Give me please.”

"Rose if you give her my number, I'll swear you-"

"Luke, I'm not under your nose anymore. I'm Max's." She cut him and smiled in victory.

"Do you think I'm a fool? I know what this girl wants." He looked at me and I pouted.

"Never judge a book by it's cover, Mr. Hastington." I said to him and he rolled his eyes.

"Spoiled Princess.” He said that to my face coldly and I looked at him disbelief.

"There's a ball this Saturday, do you want to be Luke's date?" My eyes turned to Rose and I nodded.

"You did not just say that Rose! Are you kidding me?" Luke blurted.

"Of course I want too.” I said excited.

"We need to talk sis.” Luke grabbed Rose's wrist and pulled her away. I stomped my feet annoy. I looked at them talking and I just waited for them anxiously.

Oh please.. I want to go to the ball with him, I'll be so happy.

"Hello.” I turned to see a beautiful blonde and my eyes widen as I realized who she is.

"Janet Stanmore.. I love your blog!" I squealed and she chuckled.

"Thankyou.. your name is?"

"Hailey Anderson.”

"Anderson Corp’s heirest right?" I nodded and shook her hand. Her phone suddenly rang and she picked it up.

"I'm here babe.” She said and then ended the call.

"Janet! Give her Luke's number." Rose shouted and I turned to her.

"S***!" I heard Luke curse, Janet looked at Rose completely confuse.

"Hello babe." Sky suddenly came to Janet and caught her wrist.

"What?!" Janet was completely confused, Sky pressed the lift button and it immediately opened.

"Let's go honey, you want to eat sushi right?" He pulled her and she was still confused about the whole situation. The lift door closed and I hissed annoy. I turned my head to find Rose but she’s nowhere to be found, just Luke standing there.

I walked to him and stood in front of him.

"Listen spoiled brat.. Don't freaking ask my number or even dream to go to that ball with me!" He said coldly to me and that stabbed me a little bit.

"I always got what I want Luke Hastington, maybe it's not now but I always got what I want." I said and he looked at me disbelief.

"Try me Holly.”

"It's Hailey." I said annoy and he walked away entering the meeting room shutting the door. I stomped my feet and walked to the lift.

Just you wait Luke, I'll make you remember my name and I'll even make you say my name when you're sleeping.
