I woke up a second time fully refreshed. I hadn't slept so well in many years. I yawned, turned around and patted the spot next to me. Cold. I was still disappointed that he left but I had to remember that I hated him. He's just one wolf among many. I was not to attach myself to him, even if my body and my heart decided otherwise.
I still had to work on my pirouettes for the competition. I went downstairs to my gym after putting on my swimsuit. I plugged in my IPOD and started my very soft dance. I flexed my arms slowly then sped up and ran to do flips, headstands. I had fun like crazy. I loved what I was doing. I didn't think I would stop one day, maybe in a few years.
Towards the end, I had to do a very difficult demonstration. I could break my arms and legs. I took it upon myself as usual. I shouldn't have thought about the accident that had happened. I picked up momentum and rushed off. I felt myself flying, spinning.
I land on my feet with poise and elegance. I finished my little dance and turned off the music. I heard several applause behind me. I turned around and looked at my parents, Adam and his beta who was smiling in awe.
I thanked them and my father gave me a pat on the back to congratulate me while my mother smiled at me. I went upstairs to take a shower. I dressed comfortably. I put on a blue training suit and a light blue top with a little sweater. I put on my white sneakers.
I ate, the Alpha had gone home (to Canada) looking at me sadly. I didn't dare look at him for fear of asking him to take me. He had hurt me and I blamed myself, but my strong interior was telling me to resist. He had offered to go with him, I had refused. As a result, he would come back for me in a year.
I had locked myself in my room, not wanting to go out. I felt too bad. I stood with my face stuck in Adam's photo on the internet. There were even pictures of us, of our meeting in the school canteen. I didn't remember that we had our picture taken.
The look we gave each other was unequivocal.

I woke up with difficulty, sore from my exercises. I crawled to the bathroom and showered for an interminable amount of time. I then went downstairs with my purse and ate. I went to class alongside Celia, my favorite turkey.
- Why didn't you go with him? she asked me taking off her jacket. But you had a choice.
- I did not want. He gives me time to do my gymnastics competition and he will come back for me in a year. Anyway, he went back to his country. What do you want me to tell you!
- My God ! I am sorry for you. I warn you right away that you will suffer from the distance.
Maybe I forgot to tell you that Celia has a soul mate? He let her be here for a few years before coming back for her. She was very attached to him.
- How are you doing?
- I have vials to, in a way, forget it, she confessed to me.
- You never told me!

A week later.
It's finally the big day. My gym contest. I was so impatient and stressed. I took my backpack with my outfit and walked to the building. I went straight to my locker room while my parents settled into the bleachers.
I put on my beautiful swimsuit, turquoise blue and shiny pink. A hairdresser arrived and made me a beautiful hairstyle that might not last until the end of the contest. I took a deep breath and left the locker room to join my teacher in the middle of the room with my teammates.
The judge began to speak and he called each of us in turn to show our demonstration.
- Alexa Clark.
Everyone applauded me and that gave me courage. I looked in the audience, there are recruiters watching me carefully. I felt a burning gaze on me. I turned my head and froze. Adam was there and smiled tenderly at me.
I sighed hard and concentrated. I threw myself on the track and showed different demonstration more difficult each time. I did somersaults, handstands, splits, dance. I now had to do the high bars. I threw myself and jumped, gripping the bar tightly.

I finished and let go of the bars, jumping forward. I land on my own two feet and strike a pose. Motionless and breathless as ever. People were shouting and clapping. I smiled and joined my team who jumped on me.
- Let the other judges choose the winner but also the winning team, announced the judge.
I walked over to my mother who was handing me a bottle of water. I drank it in one go.
- I'm proud of you just like your father who had to go back to work because of an emergency. Sorry, sweetie.
I hadn't noticed that Adam had joined us. I blushed and stared at one of my friends who smiled broadly at me. All had god only for my soul mate.
- I think I'll go, mom. See you later.

- We had a hard time deciding but the winner of the Jergansbourg contest is.. Alexa Clark and her team!
I screamed with joy and jumped everywhere. She looked like a degenerate. After people congratulated me, I headed for the showers. I showered and dressed in faded light pink shorts and a baggy white tee with a little cardigan. The hairdresser from earlier arrived to give me another hairstyle. I had to go get my trophy.
