Alpha Russo Fated Luna

Roxanne wiped off the beads of sweats on her forehead with an exasperated sigh. She was tired out and just wanted to go inside her room and have a four hours sleep before she got back to working.

Those four hours of sleeping were the best hours for Roxanne.

She walked away from the horse stables she had just finished cleaning towards the main mansion where her family lived.

Boldly at the top, in a beautiful and yet daring print was written "The Alpha".

Roxanne walked into the living room and glanced at the luxurious furnitures of the living room. How many years had it been since she had been prohibited from sitting on those beautiful chairs? How many years had it been since her very own family had cast her out and turned her into no more than a servant in the very home where she had once been regarded as a princess? It had been six years now. Six years since she had disappointed her family by failing to find her wolf side.

Shoving all the thoughts of her previous life away, Roxanne proceeded to go tell her mother, the Luna that she had finished her work so as to get the key to the basement. She had gotten close to the room when she heard the loud voice of her twin sister, Lorraine.

"No, Dad. Never." Lorraine yelled out loudly and Roxanne immediately paused, curious to know what was going on with her family (if they could still be regarded as family with the way they treated her.)

"Lorraine!" It was the voice of their father, Alpha Donatus and it was far from being soft.

Roxanne's brows knitted closely. Their father almost never raised his voice at Lorraine. Lorraine was his favourite and he did everything Lorraine wanted without a single complaint.

"Whatever this is, it is something not too good" Roxanne whispered to herself and moved closer to the room where her family were.

"You will do as I have said! I won't listen to another NO from you" Alpha Donatus roared as Roxanne peeked into the room through the slightly opened door.

"Donatus, be gentle on Lorraine." It was the Luna, their mother and Roxanne could see that her mother looked very tensed.

"Be gentle? Trust me when I say the Alpha King is not going to be in any gentle on any of us if your daughter does not pack her things up and go to his home right away!" Alpha Donatus growled.

Roxanne straightened up for a second. She had heard about the Alpha King. Nah, everyone had heard about the infamous Alpha King. He was said to be a monster who believed spilling blood could solve every problem. He had gotten onto the throne by spilling blood and he was highly feared. Everyone who opposed him, no matter how powerful died in less than three days.

Roxanne tilted her head slightly to the right, wondering why in the world Lorraine had to go to such a man and why they would be in trouble if she did not do so.

"Lorraine would agree eventually. Just give her some time" The Luna tried to calm Alpha Donatus down.

"Some time. We have no more than twenty four hours. The journey to the Alpha King's palace would take twelve hours. Your daughter has less than twelve hours to agree, dress up and get into the fucking plane!"

"I am not going to stay with that monster, dad! I am not going to stay with him! Every woman who has been sent to his place has been known to die in two weeks! I am sure that bastard kills them! I... I am not going to go there to die too. I can't" Lorraine sobbed and Roxanne gasped.

Lorraine was about to be sent to become a lady of the Alpha King. The title of the lady of the Alpha King was a temporary title for the women that existed in the Alpha King's harem before the Alpha King would find his own Luna and dismiss the ladies but it was no news that for Alpha King Giovanni Russo, his ladies always died mysteriously in a week or two after arriving in his palace.

Alpha Donatus took two steps towards Lorraine and stood in front of her threateningly while Roxanne watched with her heart in her mouth.

"You are not going to get us all killed by staying back here. The Alpha King wants you. He gets you, Lorraine! I am not putting the entire Pack at risk, I raised you to be a leader and a leader should be able to sacrifice for her people. You... You are not going to die there. You are stronger than those women who died there. I know you, Lorraine"

"No Dad, I know myself better and I know I simply cannot do it. I will take my leave now" Lorraine turned away from her parents and was walking towards the door when her father's authoritative voice stopped her.

"Stop right there" Alpha Donatus face turned grim.

"If you don't want to go voluntarily, then I might as well force you" His words carried a sternness that only Roxanne had had to face.

Lorraine shivered in fear, wondering what her father was planning on doing to her. She racked her brain for a solution, any solution that would satisfy her father and keep her alive too and that was when she recalled that she still had a twin sister.

"Roxanne" she stuttered the name of her twin sister out.

"Roxanne" She called the name more confidently this time and Roxanne at the door felt cold shivers run down her spine. Whatever reason her name was mentioned for, Roxanne was sure it wasn't good.

"Roxanne looks just like me. She just has to go there, to the Alpha King. Her death would be a smaller loss, right dad?" She asked

"Compared to my life, Roxanne's life is insignificant so let's send her to him instead, dad"

Roxanne knew she had to leave immediately. Hearing her very own twin sister talk about her life so worthlessly broke her way too much. Roxanne had only taken two hurried steps away from the door when the voice of her father filled her ears.

"I know you've been there, Roxanne. Get in right now"

Roxanne's legs went weak with fear but she found herself walking into the room.

"I don't need to say much. I know you have been listening all through. Pick whatever trash you wanna pick. You leave for the Alpha King's place in an hour" Alpha Donatus didn't think twice.

"Dad... I mean Alpha, please don't let me go" Roxanne immediately crumbled down to her knees, her eyes blinding with tears.

"Oh my, you are going to be safe, Lorraine" The luna rushed over to Lorraine and hugged her tightly.

"Mum" Roxanne cried out, feeling her heart hurting all over again.

No one cared about her life. Her very own twin sister didn't care and her parents didn't care too.

"Please. I... I don't want to die" She cried.

"That's now up to the Alpha King" Lorraine shrugged.
