Chapter 2. Welcome
"Mauricio," he calls, stopping in the doorway. "When are we going to make this thing between you and me official?" The CEO blinks as he cleans his cock.
—What are you talking about?
—You know, our relationship.
The blond man ends up getting dressed to leave the bathroom without even looking at Rebecca, but he feels that she doesn't take her eyes off him.
"What does that silence mean?" he asks as he picks up his coat.
—Rebeca, why do you want to compromise your life in this way? —the CEO confronts her with his gaze.
— What are you saying?! We've been dating for months, I think it's time we made our dates official, don't you agree?
-No.
His cold response disturbs her.
She knew what she was getting into when she started dating Mauricio; he was a man known for not taking anyone seriously. No woman had ever managed to tame him; he was a born heartbreaker.
But she believed that because of the time they had been dating, he would see her differently; she was always available when he sought her out, and on top of that, she was a famous model.
—What do you mean, no? What about all the time we've been dating? Doesn't that count?
—I think I was upfront with you from the beginning, wasn't I? —the model blinks several times as she remembers when he told her that he wasn't looking for anything with any woman.
—Yes, but…
—You accepted this condition, now don't change the papers, otherwise this ends here.
Rebecca's heart pounded. Mauricio was a very determined man. He wasn't intimidated by anyone and didn't hesitate to tell anyone to go to hell. The young woman licked her lips as she tied a knot in her coat.
"It's your decision... it's great sleeping with you, but if I have to end this, I will..." The CEO stares at her intently while waiting for an answer.
—No, no, I don't want it to end —she half-smiles.
However, despite accepting Mauricio's condition, she was determined to get more from him. He was going to be hers; Mauricio was everything a woman could want: rich, handsome, and incredibly masculine.
Did she love it?
She was hopelessly obsessed with him.
—In that case, we continue as we are.
"Okay," she said, approaching him seductively as she ran her hands over his chest. "I accept your conditions, as long as I can continue enjoying you, I accept everything."
— That's what I like to hear!
The CEO wrapped his arms around her waist, receiving a kiss from the blonde. Rebecca was a very passionate woman. But also very capricious; he knew she wasn't going to give up so easily. She was capable of accepting anything to keep sleeping with him.
Although it wasn't bad at all, it was a very serious problem he had on his hands. But it was something he could handle.
— See you tonight at our usual restaurant? —she smiles at him, showing that bright, dangerous look.
—Of course, at the same time.
—Okay, then see you later.
He places a kiss on her finger, then presses it to his lips. The blonde walks away from him toward the door, swaying her hips provocatively. As soon as he's alone, the CEO sighs.
[…]
Rebeca closed Mauricio's office door with an irritated expression. It was going to be difficult to get that man to take her seriously, but she needed to succeed. He was one of the most important CEOs in the city, she liked him a lot, and she'd be a fool to let him get away.
She bites her lip just as she looks up at Mauricio's secretary. The brunette is watching her as if she knows what she's done with her boss. And it was good that she suspected something; that stupid woman must know who the hell was with him.
Rebecca walked past her, giving her a condescending look, and continued toward the exit as if she owned the place. She didn't, but she expected to soon.
[…]
The bus stopped after a long, perverse journey, but it had finally reached its final destination. And she was grateful for it because she was completely exhausted. Amber stood up when she saw that all the other passengers had done the same.
With her backpack in hand, the brunette gets off the bus, looks up, and that's when she notices Gracia in the distance, who waves to her. The brunette smiles slightly as she walks towards her.
Being close to Morena, they both hug.
—You've finally arrived, how was the trip?
—Very tired.
—I can imagine. Well, let's go home. My mother must be waiting for us.
—Thank you for coming for me, the truth is I have no idea how to get home.
—Don't worry, you'll gradually get used to this city.
The brunette nodded, thinking that she hadn't expected it to be so easy. New York was a different world from what she was used to. Life in the countryside was very different from life in the city, but then again, she didn't have many options.
After her father's death, she had no choice but to go live with her aunt Maryin and her cousin Gracia. They both took her in, although she thought it would only be for a short time.
—I've prepared a room for you, but I see you haven't brought many things with you.
—I brought what I needed. It's not like I had a lot of things.
—Yes, I see that.
His father didn't own much; he didn't have a house of his own, nor a large wardrobe. When his father died, he was only able to live for three more months in the small house his father had rented.
That's why she turned to her aunt, her mother's sister, a woman who had never cared about her since the day she was born. Her father took care of everything while she packed her things and left, just like that.
Luckily, her aunt kept in touch with her. It wasn't much, but it was a source of support since her father had no siblings.
—I hope to find a job quickly and not cause my aunt too much trouble with my stay at her house.
—You're young, you're in the big city, I'm sure you'll find a good job.
—I hope so…
Gracia looks at her cousin and smiles; she was going through a rough time. At least being with them, she wouldn't feel so bad. She glances at their outfits and notices they're a bit outdated.
It was obvious where the poor girl came from. Look at her sneakers, they were pretty worn out. She felt really sorry for Amber.
When they both arrived home, Maryin greeted her niece with a smile.
—Girl, how you've grown.
—Hello aunt, thank you for welcoming me into your home.
—I'm so sorry about your father, it was terrible news.
—Yes —the brunette lowers her gaze as she remembers her father.
—Gracia, I'll get you a room, it's the one at the back. I'm sure you'll want to shower, eat, and sleep.
The truth is that it was what I needed most in life; I had been traveling for two days and was really exhausted.
-Thank you.
After showering and settling into a fairly comfortable bed, Amber let out a sigh of relief. Despite feeling at ease in the house, she couldn't shake her worries about her financial situation.
She was barely 19 years old and needed to do something with her life; she couldn't just stay living with her aunt. It was important that she find a job as soon as possible, and with those thoughts, she drifted into a deep sleep.
[…]
Gracia glanced again at her boss's muscular, masculine body, secretly wondering if he left the door half-open just so she could spy on him. That thought excited her.
Just imagining that her boss wanted her to see him turned her on so much; she wasn't even afraid of losing her job, she would take off all her clothes to end up in that shower with him.
The brunette bit her lip as she watched him touch his cock, then ran her hands over his body with the soap. It was so sensual to see him naked; she was fascinated by this man.
Her eyes followed the same path as the man's hands, and she smiled slightly as she rubbed his face. Just then, Mauricio turned off the tap, and she knew she had to leave quickly.
[…]
The CEO comes downstairs for breakfast, as usual, but when he gets to the table he notices that nothing has been served yet. He frowns as he takes a seat, and just then Maryin comes out of the kitchen.
—Good morning sir, please excuse my delay.
— What happened this morning? — she asks, picking up her cup of coffee.
—Gracia has been busy with some matters, she hasn't had time to finish in time to serve you at the table.
The blond man looked up to see Maryin serving his breakfast. He was a selective man; only Maryin and his daughter took care of his home. He had no other servants; he didn't like so many people in his house.
He waits silently for the chestnut to serve him at the table.
— Do you need anything else?
—You can go, Maryin.
The CEO took a sip of coffee as he watched the woman walk away. She wasn't that old, but perhaps she could no longer do certain things around the house. Her daughter took care of practically everything, while she was the one who cooked and did the occasional chore.
Because of her age and a problem with her knees, she didn't go upstairs; Gracia took care of the deep cleaning... the blond man licked his lips as he looked at the breakfast on his table.
Perhaps they needed help…
[…]
At night when Mauricio arrives home he finds mother and daughter still there, he looks at the time on his watch realizing that they shouldn't be working anymore.
—Mrs. Maryin, what are you doing here?
— Oh, Mr. Rinaldi! Excuse me, we've just finished our work.
—Lately they've been finishing very late.
He spoke to both of them as he loosened his tie, his gaze fixed solely on Maryin. But he knew perfectly well that Gracia's eyes were on him. He wasn't an idiot; it was obvious that this girl was smitten with him.
However, she was just a young girl; her mother had told her she was barely 25 years old and fit to work in the house. For that reason, she gave her a job since Maryin couldn't do the housework.
—Yes sir, I'm very sorry, it's just that sometimes my daughter has trouble finishing all her pending work.
Mauricio keeps his gaze fixed on Maryin, then nods.
—Very well, see you tomorrow.
Gracia felt indignant; he hadn't even glanced at her once. In all the time she'd been working in that house, he hadn't even looked at her. It infuriated her that he wouldn't even look at her ass out of morbid curiosity.
Either he was very reserved, or he truly wasn't interested in the slightest. Watch him climb the stairs and then purse his lips.
—Let's go home, it's very late.
"You shouldn't have told her I don't have time to finish the work, she'll think I'm incompetent," she angrily tells her mother.
— What the hell are you talking about? He needs to know that you alone aren't enough anymore. You can't handle everything, and you know it. You've left a lot of work unfinished today; you'll be very busy tomorrow.
The brunette stormed out of the house, furious. Her mother was a fool. If that man wasn't going to look at her now, he certainly wouldn't if he didn't finish the job at her house. Gracia shook her head.
—I think I'll suggest the idea of hiring someone else.
—I don't need help, mother.
— You need it!
Her daughter gives her a dirty look and Maryin feels like slapping her; she was so haughty about her work and she didn't understand why.
