« Adora. » My dad shouts quietly. I could see the anger on his face as his eyebrows scrunch together.

« I’m just an honest person. » I look back at Ricky, well Faust.

« But don’t worry their going to marriage counseling. You guys should try it while I watch your kids. » The last part I screamed so loud that everyone turned around to stare at us.

« Are you drunk ? » My dad pulls me close to him to smell my breath.

« Oh give it a rest, Orlando. News flash I drink and I also fuck because I’m a big girl who can watch after herself like I’ve been doing my whole life. » I shout, calling my dad by his first name which I never do.

Everyone just watched as I broke down, everyone already knows that I’m the wild, broken child, this makes no difference.

Faust just stared at me, his wife gave me a disgusted look only if she knew.

« She took some medication…for relaxation. » Victoria came to my rescue, she grabbed me by my hand.

« You guys know how it feels to be so rich sometimes it’s depressing. » She told all the stuck up, rich people who seemed to buy it. They all nodded their heads in agreement except my dad and Faust.

« You’re a disappointment. » My dad whispers.

« Nothing new, daddy. » I said, harshly.

« Come on, Adora. » Victoria helps me by wrapping my arm across the back of her neck.

« I’ll help. » Faust offers.

« I think you’ve done enough. » Victoria says annoyed, you could hear the anger behind her words.

I leaned my head against her shoulder as she guides me through the crowd, up the stairs to my bedroom. She carefully laid me down on my bed, she removed my heels and tied my hair up in a loose bun.

« He’s married. » My voice came out wobbly as tears started to form.

« Shh he’s an idiot, you deserve way better. » Victoria kisses my forehead, I grabbed her hand pulling her closer.

« Sleep with me, please. » I beg.

« But Jako-«

I made puppy eyes at her knowing she’d cave in.

« Okay. » She lays next to me, I fell asleep a couple seconds after that, darkness consumed me whole.

I was highly intoxicated by him and I desperately needed answers. Now that I know who he is, I decided to pay him a little visit. Santos co, was written in big letters across the front of the building I was standing in front of. I opened the glass doors, walking inside.

I had on a tight cheetah print dress paired with my black heels, my hair was straight with a black head band. I approached the front desk, a young women was behind the computer.

« Hi, I’m here to see Faust Santos. » I smile.

The lady glanced up at me before picking up the phone, she dialed a number before looking at me head to toe with a certain anger.

« Mr. Santos there’s a girl here to see you. » The women says into the phone with a frown.

Jeez what was her problem.

She hums a response before hanging up the phone and standing up, she dusks off her black polkadot dress.

« Follow me. » She says rudely.

Instead of giving her a smart response I just kept quiet and followed behind her. God the inside of this building was way better then the inside of my dads building, the dark forest color fits everything well unlike my dads color scheme, who picks fucking sunshine yellow.

Polkadot dress opens the door in front of us, I gracefully walk inside only for her to close it behind me. Oh so this is his office. He was no where to be found so I took this opportunity to explore my surroundings.

My fingers ran along the bookshelf next to me till they came across a picture frame, I picked it up. It’s a picture of Deborah and their two children.

Adora, what are you doing here ? He has a family.

Suddenly I wasn’t feeling so confident anymore, I’m doing the same thing my mother did to my dad and I. A door opened to my right, in he walks looking dashing as ever.

« Adora. »

« Faust. »

We both said each other’s names at the same time, the tension became real and tight. His eyes trailed down my whole body, they stopped once he saw I was holding the picture frame.

My mouth became dry, I turned back around to put the picture frame back on the shelf.

« What are you doing here ? » Faust asks, it sounds more like a demand if anything.

I thought about his question, I couldn’t exactly say what I’m really doing here which is provoking him so I decided to go with a lie.

« To talk about the nanny job. » I said.

« I know it might be awkward between us but my dad really wants me to get a job and I rather work for you then anywhere else. »

My eyes connected with his grey ones, he lifted his chin to evaluate me. Hate to admit this but he’s very intimidating and very hot. I’ve always had daddy issues but chasing after a married man, it’s different now.

« You’re hired. »

His response shocks me, that easy to convince him. This won’t be to hard, I thought. A smile falls upon my lips, an idea strikes my mind. All I seen was a challenge and I wanted to win. I quickly walked over to him, hugging him with my flimsy arms.

« Thank you. » I whispered, almost purring.

Faust clears his throat at the awkwardness, this looked way better in my head. I slowly pulled away but still kept physical contact with my arms, my face was inches from his. His minty breath brushed against the softness of my skin, my hair wasn’t so straight anymore as it sticks to my cheek.

His breath was uneven so was mine, I starred at his chapped lips. I slowly tucked my hair behind my ear giving him a better view of my face as I coated my lips with my saliva.

« Now what, baby ? » I asked, my voice sounded dry but filled with lust. I knew exactly what I was doing, I tried to stop myself but I couldn’t.

Our lips were almost touching before he pulled back but not like I expected him to. Faust slammed me against the door with his veiny, strong hand wrapped around my throat.

« I know when someone is playing games with me. » Faust whispers harshly into my ear making my body shiver from thrill.

A smirk played along my lips, I lifted my head just a little.

« I would never chase after a married man. » I said so innocently that even I almost believed it.
