We are in one of Alex's private jets, he is superb! The hostess comes to tell us that we can detach ourselves and she leans towards me to hand me a piece of paper from Alex, she tells me, even if she is more busy making sure Loïc sees her chest well. I unfold the paper:

Sorry I couldn't pick you up, I had to get home quickly for some business.

I smile seeing the note he thought of writing to me as I see it in a few hours. My sister is right, he is cute in the background.

-I would like to but Alex promised to kill me if something happened to you. I roll my eyes as he plays poor victim. To preserve my phone's battery, I take a book out of my bag to distract myself. Before I have time to turn around, Alex's arms hug me again, a little harder than usual though, as if he's afraid I'll slip away again.

-Alex... I have no idea how to turn this around without it being embarrassing or him taking it badly... How do you say politely, you're crushing me but don't worry I feel guilty so I want to stay in your arms of handsome muscular kid?

-Sorry but my wolf has been missing for 2 years. He whispers in my ear, I think all the hair on the back of my neck has stood up.

Alex's laugh shakes me and he lets me go on his own except that now he's still close to me but as a bonus I can look into his laughing eyes. He passes his hand over my cheek with the obvious desire to kiss me but he doesn't.

- I thought you were hungry. I could be offended but his remark brings me a smile and then at home, the food is sacred!
